wow, a bit sensitive about this, eh? this is not that serious of an issue, nor was my comment. did you really need to have a temper tantrum?
ooohhh.
I thought is was from "JFK". I'm a dumbass. thanks for the correction, and for the record, it was just a joke.
exactly.

You mean… They got better with experience? That's crazy talk.

I'll get the HA Buggy, Nascar, and Dread. Personally I like the small scale HA figures it helps when you want too make stop motions but don't want too spend money on oversized cars compared too the other classes. Plus the kids will have fun making armies and stuff. I already have the voyager starscream no need for this one.
PrimulArchangel
yeah i knew that , but they could make fake names and logos and such to give it a better nascar look.. I know that will never happen so ill be either printing my own decals or buy soem sets from the hobby shop and strip the entire figure of the plain jane decals the gave it . Reprolabels will do sets for them to im sure.

In the movie, it's advertising. Product placement.
In the toyline, each logo is another company's license fees that you have to pay.
Optimus Prime
The Dread(bot) looks like it'll be pretty cool; I'm looking forward to that most out of the DotM stuff we've seen so far.
Deluxe Starscream is a joke; that's surely just for small children or people who haven't gotten the Leader/RotF Voyager. Seriously, it looks to be on the same level as the FAB Starscreams. It's even that brown color that Hasbro likes to make Starscream when he's really grey like the Leader version.
The Wrecker…man, I really like the design, but the profusion of that bland, unpainted grey plastic might prevent me from getting that toy. I'm so sick of it; it's gotten to be worse than "Allspark Blue." Get some new plastic colors, Hasbro, please!
The HA bot, on the other hand, looks neat. I don't care for having human drivers in my TFs, but I like the design of that Transformer.

Im really hoping some better figures are on the way and come out later. The reason i dislike these is because TO ME (i know a lot of people like them) they do not look as well made or thought out as the first two movie lines, its like they are taking steps back instead of steps forward.
They have some awesome figures to do HA version of but instead they do these tiny figure like that lillt heli that just look thrown together with spare parts.. Do an HA Ratchet or HA Ironhide. I dont think they have to have all these gimics with BFGs , the first lines didnt have them and they flew off the shelves so why start wasting plastic on parts that for sure will get lost or thrown out by kids and parrents.
The wrecker in vehicle mode just look plain because it doesnt have all the nascar stickers on it. If they got permission to use the logos for the movies why not get it for the toys as well? If it costs a lot to paint them on the toys then give sticker sheets or something.. I know if i buy them im hitting the hobby shop up and buying some nascar decals to give them some much needed details.. And hopefull they add some more paint apps on him as well.
Megatron is the only one that im impressed with so far, im hoping the Prime with Trailer is also impressive and not like that prime we seen with the HUGE gas tank kibble. I just hope better things are yet to come…

The wrecker looks pretty sweet same with the SUV

It kind of seems that movie toys in general just don't seem to be as well crafted as their none movie line cousins. I don't know if it's the rush to match changes in the films or the rush to produce the huge numbers that retailers want right before the film opens but they often seem a bit off.
Even in Transformers it seems that the more impressive looking figures come toward the end of the movie line than at the start of the movie line.
Bumblethumper
You might be right, but personally, I'm not seeing it.
… just when I was thinking 'at least he doesn't have a robo-mullet'.
Cliff_prime
Don't worry einis alot of the movie toys been released from green lantern , thor look crap as well, don't worry about it, you get this everytime for every comic movie , transformers is not alone.
einis
geez..so many haters

Despite all the criticism of these toys, they actually look pretty good. I just wish people would wait until we have up-close reviews of the toys before they bash them. Nascar looks pretty darn good. Starscream isnt that bad, could use more paint. The Dread looks pretty good, dread-hair isnt necessary, but its alrite. It seems to me that these drones were made to look bug-like for a reason: possbily to make megatron seem weaker in a way. I think in a way there will be split within the decepticon camp: possibly soundwave and shockwave create their own army, megatron gathers an army of drones, and starscream will probably create a little army to win control himself. Factions within the decepticons would be a cool addition to the plot.

The Wrecker looks cool. I kind of dig that Shrapnel-like guy on the right too.
Rogzilla
By jove, I think you're right! HA! That's fantastic!
mx-01 archon
… Does the Wrecker have a robo-cowboy hat? That's awesome.
FanimusMaximus
I'm going for the Wrecker and the Dread, that is it.
Dinobot Nuva
This thread accidentally the entire derp. Twice.
I'll give the HA Buggy credit where its due, it looks much better here and I'm more excited for it. Crankcase/Dread is giving me a strong retro-Bionicle vibe, something I can totally dig. Need more pictures of the Wrecker, who seems totally mistransformed to me, but I'll still probably end up snagging me one. Screamer, still passing. Really no point for me after the Leader Class, give me some other seekers with the mold and we'll be golden.
Everybody movie-hatin' needs to be reminded that the financial success of the last two movie lines is what helped finance side-lines like Universe 2.0, Generations, and Power-Core Combiners. You don't have to like these figures, but if you want those amazing homage figures Hasbro keeps pumping out, movie lines are a necessary "evil".
underwear-ninja
Honestly Hasbro could give these things the worst paint jobs ever- or not even paint them- and they'd still sell like hotcakes. Thanks, movie cash cows!
ssjkazer
im sorry there is no way i could ever love that starscream its the paint that kills it for me i repaint might do it for me though
The dread i like it very uniq very nice though i wish its arms and legs are better
the wrecker needs less gray but its better
the dune buggey i like
