same with the claims that this is the legends class arcee. it has a missile launcher. NO.

stop saying its either of these two. you only make yourself look stupid when you do it.

there's only two possibilities. deluxe, or FAB. and FAB is looking shakey because it doesnt match the FAB aesthetic, and deluxe is looking shakey because there's already a deluxe Arcee.
ZMOG! UR ALL STOOPID IF YOU DON'T AGREE. Someone on the interwebz is wrong!

btw, It's HA Arcee. I have proof.

Or a peg for her vehicle mode parts to snap on to when she transforms.
Sso02V:
Or maybe it's the door to her battery hatch. You know, for the electronics that are clearly housed within.

You mean the sound chip which stores 27 lines cut from the movie, and plays them based solely upon play pattern context, rather than the mere push of a button?
Sso02V:
Yeah that one. The one we talked about at the toy design panel, of which we are both clearly members of.

I just can't wait for the Behemoth Class Devastator with individual robot modes and auto-combine action to get released. So glad we finally finished that one!
Sso02V:
I thought I was a goner when we tested the sentience chips. But I guess now we know not to make the prototypes 1:1 scale.

Wow, actualy, I think you're right, it does look alot like that Arcee except it's mistransformed.

She also seems to have a missile launcher, that would make up for Mudflap's lack of cannon right?
Wazzpinator:
I hope that's what it is, this is the only bike-girl I can stand.

First, consider the timing. It would be very odd for a complete test shot to be out in the wild 3 weeks before Hasbro shows pics of a corresponding gray resin proto for the first time as a significant reveal at a major convention.

Second, there are numerous differences:

The head on the red one is more elongated. The chests are different shapes, with the red one's being much flatter, the front being essentially in a straight plane down from the neck. The arm panels are different. The gray one appears to have a cannon instead of a left hand. The legs are symmetrical on the red one -- not so on the gray proto. The gray one's tires are 2 different sizes and have deep treads, while the red one's are identical with shallow treads. The "nose" of the red bike is more rounded and appears to have painted headlights and windscreen. The gray one, meanwhile, is more angular and has transparent plastic.

Is that enough?

On my screen it looks more red than pink, and I thought Arcee was pink.

You do have to realize that Hasbro is not going to show their latest cards, so showing a gray prototype while a test shot is floating out there is perfectly possible. With it being a gray testshot, there could have been changes made, I mean look at MP Starscream. The joints and everything suggests that it's a small figure, especially the shoulder joints. The toys are shot in different angles than the prototype, it's hard to tell if the chest isn't just simply lift up, they would be on ball joints I assume, so until a size comparison picture is shown, I'd still say that this is the one coming with HA Mudflap. You can't ignore the fact that those two figures has more similarities than differences.

But those similarities only exist because they represent the same character. Just look at how some people still think that RotF Starscream is a remold of TF07 Starscream.

Then I guess this is one of those wait and see kinda situation, it does have a heck of a lot more paint apps than the other HA Arcee though.
Pasaway:
Gobot Arcee!

I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree, then. From where I sit, the sculpting on every single piece is different between the gray proto and the red test shot.

And I can't remember a single case of Hasbro debuting a figure with gray proto pics after a test shot had already surfaced via the Chinese Toy Underground™. Can anyone else?
Ravenxl7:
Honestly, there is absolutely no question in my mind as to what this figure is. It's the FAB Arcee that we got a listing for a while back. It's definitely not the bike sister that comes with HA Mudflap. The chest/torso part is the major difference between the two. Also, the bike sister that comes with HA Mudflap, while having the mold design of Arcee, has been confirmed to be Chromia. Thusly it will have a mostly blue color scheme. This here has a red-ish pink color scheme, and looks to be the final product.

Not saying that I'm absolutely, 100%, correct all the time. Just that I can't see how this could be the Chromia figure that comes with HA Mudflap, and that there's really only one thing I can see it being, and that's a FAB Arcee.
