Movie Premium Series Ironhide and Blackout Found at Retail Premium-Ironhide
Thanks to our own Astroscream for reporting his latest Movie toy find, the Premium Series voyagers Blackout and Ironhide. He picked up this Ironhide at the Eastlake Chula Vista, California Wal-Mart. Nice find!

Remember to use our Sightings Forum to coordinate with fellow fans to save on gas and time when on the hunt for new figures!

GreenScream:
Not suprised. These guys are starting to show up on ebay.

Yo, Astroscream, pm me the location, bro!
Chaos Incarnate:
I might be talked into a Premium Blackout, since I don't have one of those yet.
Astroscream:
There were was also a Premium Series Blackout in a nice box, which I put towards the back so the kids wouldn't tear it up. East Lake Walmart off Olympic Parkway if anybody wants it! I didn't see either of them on Ebay. They were the only two Premiums there.
Dinobot Nuva:
Time to start hunting again...
RELEASE THE HOUNDS!
DN
shibamura_prime:
Woohoo!

And if anyone's feeling REALLY antsy, I saw the Brian's Toys has Premium Barricade and Jazz in stock.
marvoflg:
What is the difference between the regular and the premium figures again?

Metallic finish, more movie accurate (in most cases), more paint apps.
Ravenxl7:
Cool. Hopefully this means that Bumblebee comes out soon too, as he's one I want to get.
MegaHavok:
he looks real shiny in the pic, we need comaprison pics now!!!!
Otispq:
Ahhh, yes. The premiums, late to the party and sure to cause havok of their own. I must have the Ironhide of these two.
Railguard:
Yah well in 3 months they will release an extra special metal premium series tf series so why buy now when you can wait for that. just joking.....
Optimus747:
I wonder how many of these will be on shelves at a time. I only plan on getting Prime, Blackout, and maybe Jazz to keep MISB/MOSC. My brother wants Megatron and Ironhide, maybe BB. Hopefully we can find at least one of each before the imminent descent of scalpers upon toy aisles nation-wide.
DeceptiKreep:
some people have all the luck!
Dropshot:
These are out and I haven't saved enough. And I plan to get them all.
Aaron:
I'm going to have to work hard to not buy all of these...

Though the packaging is nice.
WeirdMetamorphosis:
Is their going to be a Ratchet premium ?
lookinglasself:
Cool. I'll be picking up both of these.
alpharon:
I had the premium blackout in my hand at the Eastlake Walmart, but decided not to buy it. It looked like a family picked it up when I passed by it again. I saw it in their cart. I'll be waiting for the Premium OP and Megs when they get released.

Astroscream, hook me up with a PM when you see them in-store. I'll do the same if I see them first.
SmokescreenGT:
Cool. Shouldn't be too long before Premium Megs and BB show up. They're the ones I really want.
optimusprimadana:
Cali always gets them first.

ThomasMaximus2:

Gears:
Saw these both at target today.
Obvious Prime:
I know this is kinda off topic, but does any one know when those "Allspark Power" exclusives come out and what store the're exclusive to? I want Barricade McBlueface.

Target in mid-April.
lord ginrai:
Hmm the only ones I'm interested in are Jazz and the Japanese Prime.
Cool though that they're starting to come out now!
Kluster Bombs:
I saw these this morning at Walmart here in Nevada.
GavynN.X.:
aRE premium figures same price as regular?

If so --- I feel gipped by Hasbro

Premium Ironhide looks VASTLY superior imo, thanks for the pics!
SmokescreenGT:
The original Blackout looks better IMO. Don't much like the tan coloring on the Premium version. Although, I DO very much like the movie accurate coloring of little Scorponok, but just not enough to get me to buy Blackout again.

And Ironhide doesn't look all that different to me.
Automorpher:
I've a question here non-related to this thread but I hope I can get some answers from some helpful members.

Was Ironhide ever release with long smoke stacks?
SpeedBreaker:
Does Premium Blackout have the same problems with the automorph and not staying together as the original?

Not officially. There were some in-packaging samples with long stacks, but the production version always had short stacks.

But is Premium Blackout identical to Lawson Blackout?
PoweredConvoy:
Ironhide looks so much better.

The Premium Blackout looks to the same except for the area around the side window and the front circular thing in helicopter mode don't look to be painted like on Lawson's.
See my image for reference.

Randy
PoweredConvoy:
Lawson's

This is without having them side by side of course. The circular part looks unpainted in the pictures of the Premium figure.

I love that the Premium Ironhide is painted black in truck mode.

Many thanks Nevermore. As always, you've been a great help!
soundwaveCA:
Looks good though I wish they had avoided/toned down the light blue bits on Ironhide as they kinda stick out.
Brownstreak:
You know. These should have come out when the movie did in the first place. I hope most of these warm the shelves like Transquito and Energon Ironhide.
Skywave:
There's about 0 chance I can find that in store (TF section in stores are completely dry here), so I'll have to buy them on the web, but place like BBTS sell voyager at 30$ And Hasbro toystore don't ship to Canada so I'm out of luck I think
influence82:
I found and bought Premium Blackout today at a Wal-Mart. Pics in box of the Takara Lawson and Premium Blackout are at this thread:
