Wonder if the special edition 2-disc Megatron will have any special features I'm going to have to pick it up.

Somehow I read your post as referring to a toy's special features, which of course won't be there. Durr. What I get for reading it at work on short time.

If true, it's the only slightly bad news here. Because that means buying another DVD set. It would have been better if they'd made the BD release a 3 disc set instead.
Spider Striker:
What's sad, is that while I already have like three copies of the movie, I'm probably gonna buy all three of these. Even the Blu-Ray, though that will wait untill I either get a Blu-Ray player or I can get it for free (like I got my HD DVD copy ^_^).
ease:
I'm super happy it's finally coming. The live features sound nice, but still no extended version or deleted scenes? I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Good news though!
World Prime:
So which of the Bluray features are new from the DVD? I might just get this and have my friend bring her PS3 to my house for use with my HD TV.
Zaraxion1021:
YAY!! I can't wait to finally watch this in High Quality!!

A Megatron case doesn't sound so bad

So nothing really new yet, except the covers i guess.
Joe Moore:
Blu-Ray version = bought. Finally! I am really interested in what they will do with the BD-Live features.
New Year Convoy:
I checked dvdempire.com yesterday, and they had Transformers listed in Blu-Ray. But I checked again today, and Transformers disappeared from that list. What's up with that?
New Year Convoy:
Is Transformers still coming to Blu-Ray?
Deefuzz:
Here's hoping for the interview that S_Megs, Kickback, and I took part in during the 2007 BotCon convention made it in there somewhere this time!
