NCStarscream:
I got him in Raleigh, NC!

blumpy2000:
Neat-o! Gonna have to keep my eyes out. Is his turquoise paint metallic?
NCStarscream:
It is indeed. My camera is pretty pathetic, but later on I will have him freed from his plastic prison and would be happy to take picture requests if there are any. I just wanted to get the "pics or it didn't happen" shot in the initial post.
Sharktibolt:
YES! I can go toy hunting again!
U.Magnus80:
Ooh. Yes. Can we get some shots in F-22 mode? I'm really thinking about grabbing this.
Bgrngod:
Ew... fugly.

I'd much prefer seeker repaints. Money not spent is a good thing I suppose.
Deceptigtar:
i had this guy pre release, and sold to a friend, its ok in person, and an ok repaint. but when i saw leader class ss in person, no repaint of this mold will make me buy it again.
NCStarscream:
Here's a couple F-22 shots.

One red flag I want to throw out there after transforming him is that some joints are very tight while others are incredibly loose. One of his rear landing gear pieces can barely hold up under his weight, while the pieces that get pulled out in the "collarbone" area in robot mode are pretty much cemented in. Very well could be a case by case thing, though.
Superquad7:
Wow, I can't believe that we actually had a first sighting

Congrats, buddy! I know you were really looking forward to this one!
ersico:
that looks great, im not a fan of that mold but im definitely looking tomorrow for him..im so happy east coast made headlines for a new release go us !!
rick83:
awesome i never got this mold since ive been waiting for the leader class one, this i will definately get.
Arkayanon:
Is that the Capital Blvd, Six Forks or Western Blvd store?
Pimpimus Prime:
How much? $25?
Dormamu:
Unreal, we actually got something first. And he's minty. I'm pretty sure that's how you define irony. Great find NCStarscream! That first news credit looks good on ya!
NCStarscream:
He was at Western Blvd KMart. There were four on the shelf, one of which had terrible paint apps (the Decepticon symbol on his wing was half missing).

And yes, $25 before tax.

Another word of warning...the plastic is eerily similar to that of 07 Protoform Screamer's. Not of the same caliber as the main line ROTF figures.

...and thanks, SQ and Dormamu
blackout501st:
its about time! been waiting forever for this dude. need the mint chocolate chip action

East Coast represent!
Ruination04:
NC ftw!
Sage o' G-fruit:
Must...resist...urge...to...purchase...
ectoneon:
^ Me too. I love the mold, and I have already long ago removed the tatoos from my first Rotf screamer, so this is different enough to make me buy it. But I know once the leader class comes out, I'd prolly feel stupid for having two voyagers.
cheetor71:
I like this version better than the original release. I especially like the coloring of his tatoos.
Autobot Burnout:
Still don't like it, but for those who do, more power to you.
Skyclaw:
WOW! he looks great and can we say Acid Storm for the movie Seeker line? Oh i think we can... Here we go again hunting and this is it for me and im done with the ROTF line and taking a looooooooooooooog break from Transformers...
Chaos Muffin:
An F22 made for space flight? Im in
Poho:
that really is attractive. i may pick this guy up, as i am a huge fan of the mold.

didn't you know? that's where the US military operates its wings of F22s. they're all dispatched from a super cool aircraft carrier in space.

Now the damn Robotech theme is stuck in my head. Thanks a lot.
enkidoamark:
This guy looks kinda cool. May have to buy. I'm always up for seekers that are in robot mode in-package.
TwinSpin:
I shouldn't want this, but I kinda do. Never got this mold and the paint scheme is way better than the first one IMO. Though I hates me the tatoos.

"Robots in Disquise, but with conspicuous tatoos that completely blow the disguise" WTF?
T-Logicon:
I'll be looking for him this weekend - bought on sight.
That color scheme is working for me.
Th0r4z1n3:
Guess I'm gonna have to do some rearranging of my Seeker shelf again to make some room for this guy.
TRANS+CRAZY:
Oh goodie... now I need to get to my local K-Mart and get Nebular Starscream.

Either that, or have my brother get me that for my birthday next month.

Well K-Mart is based on the east coast which is cool for us.
Emperor Zarak:
looks quite nifty in my opinion.

Bleh. I am about to stop shopping at Kmart altogether. Overpriced first of all. Second they have screwed up two of my online orders, I don't know who does the packing for them, but apparently they can not read.

I ordered Mindwipe, Bludgeon and Defender Optimus Prime last week when they had the 14.99 online sale. I see plenty of Ebay scalpers bought them up- that alone ticks me off.

I got my package and they sent me Long Haul, Starscream and regular Optimus Prime. Lets says I was less than happy.

The excuse Kmart gave me?? Well they claim the online sale was accidentally made on the newew figures, that the figures sold out, so they sent me substitutes?! Substitutes?! My packing slip still said mindwipe, bludgeon and Def. Prime. That right there is mail fraud, when you order something and are purposely sent the wrong items.

Had to drive to Kmart and get a refund, second time theyve done this... and now all their mindwipes are out of stock, anyone willing to sell me one without jacking up the price triple?

Well, apparently the tattoos make Starscream into Super Saiyan Starscream or some magic crap like that.
NCStarscream:
Giant robot + F-22 + tattoos =

Movieverse comics = he gave them to himself in the style of ancient Cybertronian warriors.

Nebular Starscream's bio =
"On Cybertron tattoos are more than mere decoration. They can be packed with super conductive materials and symbiotic nano-machines to enhance a robot's sensors and strengthen his weapons. Starscream designed his tattoos to help him locate the fragments of the Allspark, as well as extend his range and power in the air. When his new sensor net detects any ancient artifact from Cybertron, they glow softly, charging his weapons and boosting his engine output."

I cannot believe that that Voyager Nebular Starscream is a different color then Legends 2 pack Starscream. That makes it less redundant to have both. As for the joints, does the Nebular version seem looser than the original?

It depends on the specific joint, unfortunately. For example, the right elbow is so loose his forearm wiggles somewhat freely while the left elbow is easily twice as tight as the one on the original figure's.

If I were to generalize I'd say most of the joints are tighter than the original's.

all the joints on mine are A+++ super tight...compared to the semi tight/loose random joint on the first issue screamer...this mold is a definitely improvement...i think anyway....
optimusprime42:
he looks like a repaint

o rly?

He's very cool...but I just ordered a custom voyager Starscream from a triple A customizer...so I don't think I'll be needing this Nebular SS anymore...

If that is the case, I hope they'll come and change a tire if need be.

Lol. That one flew right over my head. They call it the ANWB in my place though.
Doug:
The problem of K-Mart is they always have most of their TF selection out of stock.

I keep checking their website for the Nebular Starscream, but it always says out of stock.
NCStarscream:
It's in stock on kmart.com now, if you trust the site enough to order from there.

I did ordered from that site before. Then several days later, they sent me an email saying the item is out of stock.
