wow, that was some enlightening info about Universe

of note, though: no voyagers listed, i'd heard talk bandied about the boards that there may be some... (from a computer listing or some-such)

If my memory is correct, it was mentioned in one of the TFCC magazines. Nothing really new. Of note is the number of Universe Robot Heroe 2-packs. I remember the one listing we got late last year said 13, so we now know that was incorrect. I was hoping for something about the Legends and Voyager casses, but, oh well.

Movie Deluxes listed as available now with additional waves throughout Spring... what are they talking about? More repaints or possibly molds we haven't seen yet? Seems unlikely considering we've seen almost everything coming out through Fall..

The only thing I found interesting about this press release is the fact that Universe is grouped with the Movie stuff, other than that, there's no new info there.

Looks like Universe Legends and Voyagers won't be in the initial push of product. I hope we don't have to wait until 2009 for them.

They mean the Allspark Power stuff we've already seen, plus the Premium Series stuff we've also seen already.

The fact that we've seen it already doesn't mean it's not "news" in a way still, considering those toys aren't out yet and all.

Not much news here really. Hopefully something more substantial comes up at ToyFare this weekend.

Kind of a letdown they didn't name drop anybody new in the Universe Deluxes blurb, but then I didn't expect they would.There's always this weekend and BotCon..........

BTW, were the Armada, Energon, and Cybertron Ultras 26.99? I can't recall. I know the BW Ultras used to be 19.99 back when there was also the 15.99 Megas.

That supreme Prime looks good, better than the same money for SWTF Darth Vader Death Star...and of course I just love the "Fall" release date. Electronics are cool, but I hope his don't take the fun out of transforming him.

Well nothing new in this article. I really wish I didn't have to wait till the fall to pick up those new Universe figures, that really sucks!!!!! I hope there is some new info this weekend and maybe some pics of fully painted Universe toys....one can wish.

yeah, after RiD the price (and size) of Ultras and Megas/Voyagers went up $5ish bucks. ~ i actually miss the old sizes/prices, the new Ultras are almost TOO big in relation to Deluxes.
i'd guess there's a good chance it'll be 09 or December at least...

The Premium Series Megs and Prime along with Deep Desert Brawl will probably be the last of the Movie line for me unless we get more tempting repaints.

Where's Galvatron? The one that his recent comic spotlight was based on? (Yeah, I know, it's somewhat OT, but still)

I'm surprised Classics/Universe is sharing shelfspace like that.

Whoops! Misread the info there, thought there was going to be Animated, Movie and Classics/Universe all together.

We've known this already.

I hope when they say classics, they mean "CLASSICS!" Besides the movie line the classics was one of the best sets Hasbro ever came out with. I wouldn't mind seeing more of those, and a line like that can easily continue for the next few years...just like the good old days. I was hoping to possibly hear of somthing like movie Alternators. That would be a great way to reinvent the movie line with bigger more screen accurate, and no fancy lights, sound, or automorph kibble. Can you imagine a Peterbilt Truck on an alternators scale...with chrome parts...I am sure that exsists in heaven.

Either way I hope in the classics/universe we see heavy hitters Galvatron, Springer, and Ultra Magnus
