He most certainly does. Awesome choice of mold and colours, although it makes me laugh that the original pacifist Autobot is getting more heavilly armed with each new rendition.

If you mean the mold itself, that's just Knockout, one of the first items in the ROTF toyline. If I'm not mistaken this is the "Road Rocket" redeco that was revealed a few weeks ago.

I don't find them very spectacular, the original colours were more interesting and fitted the alt modes way better.
The Red Baron deco is just plain boring, and making that Beachcomber out of Dune Runner is halfhearted.
If they made him an open buggy and lost the BFGs I'd be more onboard.

Looks good in vehicle mode, however the bot mode of that figure doesn't look like beachcomber to me at all. I will stick with the legends figure.

I normally don't by any repaints (except for seekers and a UM now an then) but Beachcomber will be mine... I'll probably sell Dune Runner. Come on, who am I kidding? It's a scout after all -- not that I will be broke if I had 2...

Fantastic repaints. I'm soooo glad Hasbro did the obvious, satisfying repaints with these guys. Otherwise it would have felt like irritatingly missed opportunities.
Hmm, I guess now the only Scouts of whom we haven't seen repaints are Ejector, Dirt Boss, and Scalpel. Wonder if those will show up as well (sure would be nice to see Dirt Boss done in orange as a Spoons homage).

Except for the face, arms, legs and general body proportions, I guess he can kinda not look like Beachcomber. If you don't look at him directly anyway. Heck, Dunerunner's head looks more like G1 Beachcomber then the legends version imo.
