50$ for a movie and a little head on New-Year's eve?
I might have to pass, that sounds too much like last year's party…

Eh. I was happy with my metal case version from FYE for the first film. I'm hoping they do another.

ROTF Blu Ray
This looks like an awesome set. I wonder how much it's going to retail for?
Duh. I didn't see the previous post. $49.99 is a lot less than I thouhgt.
Maximus_Prime
the packaging for the dvd was shown not the actual dvd of the movie

Odd that they are listing the release date as December 31st, 2009 as that is a Thursday. New movie products including exclusives are generally released on Tuesdays (such was the case with the Iron Man / Dark Knight exclusives)
The 31st must be the default date if they are unsure. Transformers – Revenge of the Fallen will be released in late September, early October of this year if you follow the general timelines between theatre dates and DVD/Bluray release dates.
Cyber-Scream
lol, the movies' still playing and the DVD is already being shown.

Why do you hate bluray? It's got superior video (and mostly audio, depending if it's a joke release or not) to dvd. Get a bluray player only if you have an HDTV that's larger than 32" to make it worth the purchase. Anything smaller and an upconverted DVD will look nearly as good.
On topic, this bust looks good but I'm betting it's about 6". For me, it'll be a game time decision when I see it in hand when I make my purchase from BB.

walmart will probably do same thing like all the extra stuff they do for big hit movies put in an extra dvd every big movie that has bonus in comes with free dvd included or comicbook i bet my life on it they do it again.
i always liked target better as much i hate bluray i may pick his up to own first bluray dvd just to hear if the sound quality is that much better than normal dvd or no differnce at all be toss up but i will go to best buy to pick he movie unless if fye have steel cases again i like them
Optimus Layne
bestbuy.com says they are going to be $49.99 and come out 12/31/09

preordered mine!

If it's $50 I may think about it. The bust is cool, but quite tiny.
But I'm more curious on what Target & Walmart are going to do.
I usually end up getting both of their exclusives since the availability & price have always been fairly reasonable.
Spoiler
I don't normally buy the ones with the busts and whatnot…however, with it being blu-ray, and if the price is right…I may just pick it up!
shumworld
i find it odd that this exclussive isn't available for the dvd version.
webz
Meh, just gonna end up being another shelf warmer. My 3 local Best Buys STILL have the Dark Knight batpod sculpture Bluray set.
AMG
Awesome set, love the Prime bust.
highlander3000
I liked the set with the two Robot Heroes. I hope another one is done like that.
BlitzFire
Im really starting to NOT like Best Buy. I love their exclusives lke this, but lately they are only releasing them on Bluray and well, to be honest, Ican't afford a bluray player
if this came out on regular dvd with the bust id be happier then a pig in sh*t.
Might have to buy it anyways LOL
ive gotten the 300 BB exlusive, whihc came with Leonidas helmet, I got the BB exclusive of the first movie, which was joke IMO and also the BB exclusive Dark Knight that came with the Jokers clown mask.
GRRR
im also interested in seeing what other store exclusives are going to come out, probably one or 2 futureshop steelbook case thingers
