The Arker has posted a selection of images of the Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Leader Class Megatron toy in package. There’s plenty of detail shots of Megatron’s body and arms, although the head is not shown. Megatron’s bio is also revealed, teasing at how Megatron returns more powerful than ever and plays into the larger plot of the new movie.

If I were McG, I'd be more worried about Night at the Museum 2 considering that's a film he'll be directly competing against for box office take opening weekend…and also considering the first Night at the Museum outdid T3 by more than $100 million….different years, but still.
prime is a legend
haha add to the fact that he is McG and you've got to feel for the guy!
Agonize
D'oh! Can you blame him. McG is a beginning director. He has to deliver a fantastic Terminator movie to gain fame.
Michael Bay HAS made good movies, is well known for his action sequences. McG lacks Michael Bay's experience.
prime is a legend
I read that article in Empire, sounds like he's scared shitless if you ask me if he's got to compare it to Transformers.
Waveride
McG the director of Terminator Salvation.
Anti Spark
^ Who does?
Waveride
Did anyone read that McG article where he yet again takes a shot at Transformers?
The Primes
I actually like the head showing in vehicle mode. It's so Megs can see the horror in your eyes the split-second before he runs you over. I also like the creepiness of the deccayed arm.
A vast improvement over the original. Not as good Prime, but still a must-get.
megatronkicksas
That pic alone makes me sick.
SlyTF
I got to frekn get this!
SlyTF
I got to frekn get this!!!
Atlas
Well he is a living being so maybe!
Also Megs has a pair heres proof…lol
shroobmaster
Actualy, the concept art is SO different from all toys so far that I'd be willing to say that it was dropped for the current-smaller-claw-cannon arm.
AnimatedFan
Granted, the concept art and the toy have some differences. (especially on size/scale)
I still think the figure is worth my money. I like his look, and I'll bet he's a lot of fun too. Sure, the first movie's Megatron was a pure pain in the ass to transform (those legs will make a TF designer cry.) but he was goofy lookin', he was massive (in vehicle mode), and he was a lot of fun over all.
I have a feeling this Megatron will be just as much, if not more. He's not perfect, by any means, but he'll be fun.
Last I checked, that was one of the selling points of a toy… they're fun.
megatronkicksas
Is that possible?
Atlas
Damn megs head is a tank testicle!
Vincymon
It is really beyond my understanding why is it that with both modes COMPLETELY up to the designer's iIMAGINATION, they keep on messing up movie megatron like this !
The tank is not even a real vehicle ! Yet, that couldn't build it properly.
I mean seriously, are the folks at hasbro telling us that it is easier to get a peterbilt truck to transform into an alien robot; THAN an imaginary vehicle which was invented FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE of transforming in the first place !
This is just like the 2007 leader class megatron all over again. A sleak image, and a chunky toy.
This is hilarious. I just don't understand what makes megatron ( an ALIEN TRANSFORMING INTO AN ALIEN VEHICLE ) more difficult to build than optimus prime ( an ALIEN THAT TRANSFORMS INTO AN EARTH VEHICLE )
that's what I call irony !
VaderPrime1
Unless this is a prototype version, I guess it'll be yet another Megatron I skip out on. For me = EPIC FAIL!!!
megatronkicksas
Also that's not even the finished Design.
Adiansyah
It's a non-realistic vehicle mode! So they should make it much better than the leader prime, for example, for it's based on a real truck!!! just like the animated series, the toys have perfect robot and vehicle modes….
