This mold can't have much life left in it, unless if the more modern molds don't degrade nearly as fast.

Looks like the 08 one, except for the weapon. Never got the 08 one so I'll probaly get this one. I was hoping that he would be geting a mouth than that speaker thingy (So much for trying to show more 'emotion' from the robots).

Great mold, but it's already been used a lot. Hopefully it still sells like crazy so it doesn't sit and warm pegs too long.
Since we haven't seen what the new molds look like yet, I haven't decided if I am going to be a completionist for the 2nd movie figs, or just get the new stuff.

Yes, because the guy from TF08.net apparently hates it when other sites post his images, so he watermarks his photos and puts them in top-secret password-protected forums.
But when he needs to use someone else's photos, well, he can just lift them from any site and remove their watermarks and replace it with his -

No wonder my other Bumblebee didn't align properly and I sold it. It was fate. This one looks way better and the head looks nicer in my opinion. I can't wait for this figure. I actually want to own it now.
By the way, someone who imports toys on TradeMe (kind of like eBay for New Zealanders) told me that his friend had been shown the new movie toys as she was one of the selected retailers to see them early. Apparently the majority of figures are repaints/slight remolds/slight retoolings whilst only some are new. The one I heard that is new is Jetfire.

It has been stated that existing character is pretty much the same on ROTF, so no complete "new" mold I think.

I'm still trying to figure why the hell they're using light grey for his limbs again instead of black. They did it with the Premium Edition and now they're doing it again with this one... neither of which make sense. This figure seems to get less accurate as time goes on.

Yeah I guess you're right... but they were very dark grey and basically looked black through most of the film and even via a couple of the movie posters, so I just naturally picture him in yellow & black and (personally) think the scheme for CC BB is what they should have stuck with.

Yeah, the lighter grey always felt less striking to me, with the yellow. On the toy, anyway. Stealth BB's grey rocked.
I'm way into the new head on this guy! Probably won't rush to get him but I wouldn't be against picking him up eventually.
Not surprised this kinda thing is coming- I mean Autobots from the first movie are probably in this one. I think it's pretty likely they'll at least get a minor remold-release for TF2.

They might as well remold it, given that they probably wore out the molds first time around. I'm so bored of that figure.
What I have my hopes pinned on for ROTF is the new Scout molds. It'd be cool if the did a new scout class Bumblebee figure. They could go down a scale with everything, and have new molds to milk to death. A deluxe Optimus truck would be also cool(and to scale with Bonecrusher). Plus it would make Devastator seem massive.

Yup you're exactly right ROTF Bumblebee has been retooled into a Z28 Camaro.

At least this time they are fleshing out the line with remolds rather than non-movie appearing, wonky-looking video game drones. If rifling through movie line pegs for the last 18 months has proven anything to me, it's that Movie Bumblebee doesn't warm pegs.

Meh, I'd rather Hasbro put improvements on existing molds than put extra resources into reinventing the wheel where they don't necessarily need to.
