A remold. Guess I should have expected this. At least the new head sculpt looks a lot more accurate. Looks like most of the surviving cast of the first film will get remolded toys with slightly more movie accurate parts.

It's nice, but I actually kinda prefer the old head sculpt. Also, does this one not have a right hand. Looks like his weapon is molded into place. Shame. I think I might stick with my current CC08 Bee.
I do like the new bumper though, and it's nice that the undeniably more accurate head sculpt will be available for those who want it.
Mind you, this has rather whetted my appetite for ROTF Ironhide....

I'm surprised they even bothered doing a remold at all when it's as barely noticable as what we're seeing here. Save for the gun update, I'm willing to bet 95% of Joe Public won't even be able to tell the head or fender got tweaked.
Regardless, CC Bumbles still looks the most accurate. Not sure why the Premium Edition or this new version would be utilizing so much light grey considering BB never looked that way in the movie.

The new headsculpt is sweet. Eventhough it's a little blurry, it looks a lot more movie accurate. I'm still thinking I'll be spending my toy collecting dollars elsewhere this time around. If it had been a whole new mold, or if Bee had gotten a new alt mode, I might have been willing to fork over a few bucks for him. Besides, I've got my original one all Reprolabled up!

I will be picking this up. The new head sculpt is great. I like the gray plastic a lot too. CC BB was pretty accurate to begin with, so I'm not surprised Hasbro just retooled the mold.

I think it might be a new Z28...? Is that what the old ones were called?

This is a certain buy for me. I bought Classic Camaro Bumblebee as my first movie toy, and while I do like him a lot, his nondescript vanilla weapons and giant clown feet did leave me wanting something a bit more film-accurate to replace him. I've been umming and ahhing between Concept Camaro, Premium and Screen Battles for a while, but this one has them beat, if only for the excellent headsculpt, so I guess I'll just wait for this.

repaints/remoulds, that merely suggests cost cutting measures (which is just the way things are) and is mildly disappointing but hopefully that means that its allowed a shift of focus onto the new characters.

Looking pretty good. It's nice that Hasbro aren't just putting out the old figure in a new box, and it allows the fans (and kids) who didn't get the original to get a newer, possibly improved version of it.

Not bad, but I'm happy enough with the one I have. It's nice to see them at least remold the head, front bumper, and give him a new weapon. Only returning characters I plan on getting figures for are Optimus and Megs.

Given the timing of it, it makes sense. But we also have the Wreckage repaint out there so it could be packed with either Wreckage or Soundwave.

Yup. And instead of just 2 preview figures like last time, I think we're in for an entire wave of preview figures this time around. And who knows, they might come out a bit earlier than last time.

you could be right, even though I did really want a protoform BB.
now onto the figure, I will get just because I love this mold. I like the bumper but that weapon, does this mean he will not be using his stingers or is Hasbro being cheap again?
