While there is currently new content at the website it's interesting to note that Transformers2.com now redirects to the official Transformers Movie web page. The URL was sold on Ebay at the end of February to an undisclosed bidder for the amount of $10,250.00. You can find that auction by clicking here.

No new content, but the URL brings you to the original website. It was supposedly sold on e-bay or maybe Hasbro just got it due to the rights, I don't know how property names and URL ownership works.

I do believe that legally Hasbro can walk in and take the domain as it's not being used in good faith. However it may have been cheaper to just buy it off eBay, or some other chump bought it.
