I thought this was common knowledge? This is just confirmation, surely?

The dude who used to work on the site where Transformer The Ride is being built is a Transformers fan, I met him at Botcon 2010 as he'd pulled me from the crowd to take part in the show (the one where Walken is the Director and The Rock has a cameo) a few days earlier, he ironically lost his job because of the TF Ride.

Can we say maybe botcon in Orlando for 2013 ????

Dont really think Botcon will be in Orlando, I expect this ride to be opened late summer, and botcon is held mostly before July

Wait, they're replacing the Mutha Nature attraction? Seriously? That sucks! They totally should've just put it in place of where they tore down Jaws.

Oh, and off topic, but was your friend the only guy who played that role at "Disaster!"? My dad always wanted to go up to the guy and tell him he was really impressed with how well he stayed in character the whole time, but never got the chance.

You do know that the ride is being built where an empty soundstage was, right? The only thing that it was used for was storage, TNA Wrestling, and Halloween Horror Nights.

All I know, is that I'm super stoked for this.

I was so bummed I didn't get to go on the ride last time I was in Singapore—now it'll be less than an hour away from mi casa. I am so pumped!!!

So that construction I saw while I was at Universal Orlando was TF: The Ride. I'll have to plan for a trip in the next couple of years.

It was an unconfirmed rumor at the time. This is the official announcement. I'm quite excited for this, as Universal's about an hour from where I live. Maybe I'll move a bit further northeast, and get jobs with Universal and Disney so I take advantage of the park-related perks.
