1st i hope , this is AWESOME !!!

Hmm... satellite sounds kind of cool... especially if it has weapons on it and such. But a pickup truck? Bah... well, if it's got some big honking speakers and... yeah. I'll just wait and see, but so far this is the first news I'm not really stocked on. Not sure why either...

Hmmm....interesting. The satellite I like since hes a communications/intelligence officer, but the pickup, I might have to reserve judgement until I see it. Hopefully Bay and team did him justice.

The satellite mode was rumoured on the shootfortheedit forums months ago.

But, a pick-up truck? Really? Very un-soundwaveish.

So a semi-homage to Energon Shockblast's satelitte mode. But a pickup truck earthmode? Could work I guess, and it does meld well the little ATV-like vehicles we've seen that Ravage is rumored to be.

Okay so I would not have guessed that the satilite rumor was true but a pick up truck?

Yeah, I don't want to be Mr Negative........But a 'Pickup' or any automobile for that matter is a waste for Soundwave IMO.

Still, people have to sell cars...

That's the first I've heard about a Ravage alt. Better than a pile of crap under a tarp, which is about the only other thing I could imagine his minions changing into.

As cool as both of these sound...LOL what good is a satellite mode? Being and orbiting box doesn't seem too useful He might as well stay in robot mode and float around up there.

I'm calling schanagians theres no way soundwave is a pickup it makes no sence(though we are talking michael bay) so far most stuff that has shown up is pretty much bullsh##

Pick up? Well it will depend on his colors and robot mode then I guess, He'll probably end up green with flames.

Damn, not a truck with speakers like the Animated version? Guess a truck isn't too much of a departure...

...however, it's not his alt mode that concerns me the most, it's his robot mode.
I wonder if the character is even blue or is he just some random Bayformer that just got the honor of being Soundwave?

No but something that makes sense for soundwave like a stealth bomber or something that cool not this retarded truck mode.

Sounds good to me, the beauty of Soundwave is that his character is all in the bot mode, so it's irrelevant what vehicle it is as long as he has the look of Soundwave in bot mode.

Pickups can look very menacing depending on how big a model they decide to use.

Reserving judgement till i see it. However if he indeed has both modes there must be some big sizeshifting in this movie. How the hell are they going to fit Soundwave into something the size of a car if he can also be something the size of a satellite?

I like the idea of him being a satellite. I have to admit a truck mode seems a bit off for an intelligence gatherer. I just figured he would have been some sort of military spy/ information gathering vehicle. I guess I'll have to see it before I can condemn it though.

For one thing, if Soundwave is to be one of the big guys in TFs, surely he should be bigger than Ironhide, maybe on a par with OP and Megatron in terms of mass.

Not really I have never seen one menacing before I'm just saying soundwave deserves more that a piece of sh## alt mode love the sattiliete idea though and it fits him now I'm leaning more towards passing on this movie cause it just seems like a rehash of the last one.

I hoped for some sort of surveillance vehicle, but of course - I'll wait till I see him in action before I go "A TRUCK?! THEY'VE RUINED IT FOREVER"

I like the satellite idea, it suits him... Holding off real judgement about the Earth mode, but initial reaction is "Surprised" - Still, if the fancy quad bike we've been seeing is Ravage, that would make sense because then he'd be able to carry him around!

Hmmm, not what I expected, but sounds good to me I'm interested to see how the pickup truck looks actually.

As a joke someone needs to get into Truckwave and complain that it only has a tape deck "What, NO CD player?, What is this 1984?" Then ravage eats them.

So apparently this is the world's largest pick-up truck, 22 feet long and eight feet high. Maybe this is what they're using for Soundwave to be a convincing servant of Megatron.

Look, the TFW insider is a source who has helped the staff by giving EXCLUSIVE information. This source has been accurate in the past, and i can assure you that the Admins would not allow something like this to be posted unless they were dead certain it is correct.

I think we need to be grateful that we have a source that allows us this information prematurely. It is cool to get this before everyone else

uhhh, no. Unless you are talking about the Hubble Space Telescope, most satellites are about the size of a large vehicle, like a sedan up to a large, uhh, truck. So not a big stretch.

Plus, while he may be a pickup, it could easily be modified or upgraded to have communications equipment. you guys need to quit assuming you will hate the alt mode until you actually see it.

That is an awesome truck, and I could really see Soundwave being THAT!

I just keep thinking, how can they make a truck more badass than Ironhide? Unless its more of an SUV type truck, OR maybe its that sleek chevy I believe its an SSR (not really a big car/truck guy sorry). That truck chevy came out with a bit ago thats kinda a car too. Then again that wouldn't make sense if he had to lug around an ATV in his truck bed. I would honestly think just off of that, that he's just gonna have the same truck mode as Ironhide which really doesn't make sense either. Oh well, guess we'll have to decide when we finally get to see it. Or it could be part of the Bayformer disinformation campaign.

I wouldn't have minded Soundwave being a pickup but since Ironhide is one I think they should have went with something else...There should not be 2 of the same vehicle types in the movie...Kinda takes away from the transformation for me...

Apparently the CXT was discontinued, but I hope it is the pick-up truck. I'd be shocked if Soundwave was the same size as Ironhide.

I like the earlier idea posted, that if a minion like Ravage is an ATV, he could have a couple dirt bikes in the back end to be Frenzy and Rumble (and just to drive the fanboys apeshit, they'd both be red.)...there's potential in a Soundwave truck.

Well. I was hoping that Soundwave was the International Space Station, but oh well.

Will he transform and travel between the surface and the orbit frequently in the movie? That'd be cool. Since TF2 is a massive GM ad, I want Soundwave to look like this.
