ponn01:
High Def title of the year. *snickers*

Still waiting for my Blu-ray copy Paramount, thank you very much.

Should win marketing hands down. How many different versions were there with bonuses all together? 100? 200?
Gingerchris:
I would imagine Blade Runner will scoop the DVD extras category. Admittedly there's hardly any major differences between the various versions of the films in the set, but everything else was extremely in-depth and enjoyable, even if it didn't really try to do anything innovative with the kind of extras it offered. Maybe it should've had an energy bar onscreen showing how injured or drunk Deckard was throughout the film.
The set was quite reasonably priced too, offering excellent value for money.
Rabbit:
Do awards even mean anything anymore? Seems anybody can make a bunch of awards shit up and pin a medal on any damn thing for it.

I'm not saying this is a bad movie but really, it's all marketing. Made up awards defined by vague standards to drive up sales.

Outstanding achievement in the field of excellence, indeed.
Ash from Carolina:
Some how I get the feeling that it's not going to take any of the awards.

To expand on what Rabbit said a bit in a world of movies being disposible products what do awards count for any more? All the summer '07 pretty much lay forgotten now that summer '08 has hit. Might find them on the slow hours of HBO, or Show Time, but for the most part they had a short life span and now cast aside by all but the hardest of hard core fans.

Get me some movies that can hold up over time like the first Star Wars series and then I'll be impressed by what a film or series of films has done. Even if they don't hand out test of time awards.
Railguard:
Actually I can't say I care for award shows as I believe they are rigged by exec's and don't hold any metal with me like the Mtv music awards have no meaning for me. Besides, we have this summers movies to get ready for and not to mention Transformers 2 to look forward to.
Optimus62:
Movie Awards don't mean sh!t. I don't need some lame ass execs telling me what is considered a great movie. Just because a movie wins an award doesn't make it a great movie in my opinion. I like what I like.
Optimus747:
It should definitely get the award for Marketing Campaign.
