Transformers Movie Bumblebee Camaro Up Close

Check out some up close and personal shots of the Bumblebee Camaro from the Transformers movies! TFW2005 was able to attend a pre-opening screening of GM products for the Philadelphia Auto Show this morning, thanks to Scott Settlemire of GM and his Camaro5 / CamaroZ28 community outreach.

On display was an actual in-movie version of Bumblebee as seen in Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. We took a detailed photo shoot of it for you guys, so check it out by reading on.

No, there was no Transformers 3 version, nor any other Transformers related GM product there. While this isn't ground breaking news and it has been seen before many times, we figured some pretty Camaro shots are still worth a look-see. Enjoy!

such a nice car.... GM is really getting the exposure with these movie...WOW

Because my Taxpayer dollars went to GM, I should at least get a free ticket to this movie,(which WILL generate revenue for GM) or a brand new camaro like this in my driveway

Yeah, it's got a stripped interior, odd/different from the movie shots and the production camaro.

Also has silver windshield wipers.

It's funny how the production team can't get the look of this car right.
In Revenge of the Fallen, the size of those trapezoidal black things around the lower lights in the car's front kept changing between real shots and CG shots. For instance, the size of them on the Bumblebee robot doesn't remotely match the size of them in the car.
And now in Dark of the Moon, the car shown in the MechTech gun display doesn't have those things and is back to the first movie's design for those lights.

Wow...great eye, is that the wipers, or the trim on the back of the hood? either way now that you pointed it out, it sticks out like a...dinobot in a stunticon rally

Those were at least mock-wipers. Even if not functioning. Saw it while there, just forgot to snap a close up of them.

Rotf bee cool. I've seen TF3 bee, and megs, dread, and prime up close.

Btw i think bee has a competitor in the pretty area now.

Also, I'm remembering autobot emblems on the hubcaps- unless that was just in the first movie (which is certainly possible). But it does seem like there was a discreet emblem somewhere on the outside of the car, and I'm not finding it.

A lot of times movie prop vehicles wont have "real" brakes or wheels unless it is a hero car or for close ups. Anything that is a driving shot or a wide shot will have a more "prop" feel to it.

I do remember the pictures from on set showing a small Autobot logo under the Camaro script on the fender.

The mufflers are fake on the back, i dont think this is the actual camaro, least in my opinion.

Yep, definitely not the DOTM Bumblebee; besides the wipers, steering wheel, no Autobot sign on the fenders, wheels, etc, the current DOTM Bumblebee has carbon fiber accents (the chin spoiler, rear spoiler, ground effects, etc). I have some hi-res close-ups I took in Detroit.

Nothing TF related at the Providence Auto Show. Didn't expect it as its a small show. They had a few camaros but white/orange colors and a volt.
