The home-formats release of Transformers Dark of the Moon may include a hefty amount of cut footage, according to a recent interview with the stars posted on MTV.com. In the interview, it is mentioned how there are “hours and hours” of the cast riffing and ad-libbing bits of scenes, much of which evidently did not get included in the final cut. One such scene, involving Jon Malkowich, is described in the article,
“It was just a little tiny thing where I go back to Rosie after I leave the apartment and try to get her number,” Malkovich explained. “That’s the kind of thing that could be true to the character and could not be true to the character — hard to say — but is utterly superfluous to the forward movement of the film.”It’s unlikely there are any robot scenes among the cut footage though – given the expense of making and animating scenes, it’s hard to imagine any of it being cut out completely.

All I want is the elephant scene.
And the Twin's sacrifice.

you guys must also consider that the actual DVD/blue ray will cost more then a ticket so i can see why they would save some actual CG scenes for the DVD/blue ray release so that more people will pay more to see the extended movie not only for the human scenes (which I'm positive they will have) but also the robot scenes which people would be more interested in.
Wars
I doubt it. I couldn't see the crew spending millions on CGI and then not using it. CGI tends to be the very last thing added into a movie, so any robots would've been animated in after the final draft of the script, which wouldn't include the Twins amongst other things.
Dinobot747
I don't think I did either…I was wondering about that for the longest time.
Dinobot747
If you don't put any extra robot scenes in, PLEASE, just PLEASE, fix the part where Brains disappears from Sam's hand for one shot. Drives me nuts.
Also, I still want Megatron vs. Elephant (not likely) and an extended Shockwave/Prime fight in Chernobyl. That scene just seems…edited. In addition to that Burger King commercial with Prime and Shockwave fighting…that was never in the movie.
Notilator
i do believe that there is because in that BK commercial OP has the same weapons he had in the Chernobyl fight (sword and shield) plus it was so finely done I doubt Micheal made that scene specifically for the BK commercial

A Special Extended Edition would be nice, but I wouldn't be surprised it it was just lame stuff.
Funnymerc
Was it only me who didn't hear Optimus say "you've made a grave mistake" in the actual movie? And I went to see it twice
AwesomeCallumIs
im hoping for skides and mudflap
Dormamu
Is it too late to request that instead of including cut footage, they actually cut footage from it? Like the parents, John Tuturo, the humans, and Wheelie.
Pretty please?
Railguard
That would be cool to see, I already know you will only include them on the Blue RAy so am I pepared for it.
ssjkazer
yeah all i ask is the skids and mudflap scenes it would make me realy happy i was gutted they where not in the movie

There where so many Set footages showing The Chevy Sparks. Even on different locations. So I wanne see them driving around at least in car mode as we saw in the Chevy commercial earlier. Or we´ll see the animations in earlier stats as they did in Rotf with the extended fight with Sideways and Demolishor.
By the way the main reason about the discussion about the Twins being in the Movie is:
There are a lot of guys who wanne own only Movie Toys and not waste money for Non-Movie characters.
IMO. 1. We saw them on Set 2. They were driving in that convoy (Trailer/Movie) 3. They do appear in the novel = They are concerend with TF Dotm = So get the Toys!
Nerdicon
The way I see it, they could have paid for some footage that simply wasn't done yet in time for the movie. I know it isn't going to happen but somehow doing the Wrecker's intro they couldn't get permits for would be nice. If just to see that dog.
And yeah how they got captured would be nice.
shockwave2005
I'd like to see them add in footage of the following:
1. Anything that expands on Ironhide's death.
2. The scene when the Autobots are captured in Chicago.
So yeah…I'm pretty much good with the film as is.

All you need to know about the DVD release.
Anyone who thinks Bay will include MORE CGI is
You will NEVER see the TWINS again, no matter how many times you wish it.
You will NEVER see the "Burger King" footage in full, in the movie no matter how much you wish it.
All you WILL see is human footage.
Sam's boss hittin on Carly
Sam and Government Lady talking more
Sam and Dylan talking
Has anyone here bought a Transformers DVD and actually watched the deleted scenes and saw CGI footage? NO!!
What makes you think even if we took a "vote" that Bay or Paramount would honor that. It costs more $$$ they dont need to spend.
Are you serious?? if you think i am wrong, let the betting begin.

sigged!

I think the only way we'll get finished, CG robot shots is if the movie is an Extended Edition like Lord of the Rings. I would doubt they would complete CG scenes only to have them in the bonus material.
Hopefully, we get EE of all 3 movies
[Wing_Saber-X]
Yeah, not keeping my hopes up..
Radar prime
what about an extra scene on cybertron?
