Concept Robots has shared some work by Michael Hritz, who was commissioned by Polaris to design some robots based on Polaris’ vehicles to appear in Transformers: Age of Extinction. While the trio of robots did not make the final cut, we can check out and admire the concepts, which borrow some cues from the less conventional robot designs of Demolishor and Arcee from Revenge of the Fallen. Be sure to check them out along with the designer’s notes at the link above.

I would have liked the white and green ones be used in the movie depending on updates to keep with the new aesthetic. Mainly because they make good continuity with ROTF that the humans dredged up the dead transformers of the laurentian abyss from previous films.
T-Hybrid
So a likely runner-up to what Lucky Charms would've been driving instead of the purple Skidz/Mudflap mobile.
JukeOutlander
The red guy knows how to play some HOOPS!
I don't.
Bahamut Prime
Amazing!
kjeevahh
I agree, they're nice designs but have almost nothing in common with transformers aesthetics
Fallout
they're cool… just not as transformers.
Algernon
First one reminds me of Overman King Gainer.
Achilles1943
its cool I like it
Achilles1943
what was this suposed to be?
human made bot, decepticon… what?!
Dinobot Snarl
Thank goodness those non-transformers were not in the film… Were getting closer to a transformery movie, AOE was a big step. I like the art though.
Underwear
They look very Beast Machine-ish in design.
Autovolt 127
They should have kept the Polaris in the film.
TheShockwave48
Very nice!!
nobleboivin
I would've loved to see those
normtrooper

from Exclusive TRANSFORMERS 4 Concept Art: Unused Polaris' Robots
At one point during production, the motor vehicle company, Polaris, attempted a deal that would have allowed Paramount Pictures to use their vehicles as Transformers in Michael Bay's Transformers: Age of Extinction, but for whatever reason thing didn't work out. Polaris is known for manufacturing: snowmobiles, ATV (All Terrain Vehicles), and neighborhood electric vehicles.

Yep I agree..they all remind me of rotf
megatronski
These would've been cool to see in the movie, especially the third one, looks very, very influenced by the biker twins from ROTF…
