Can you only pre order the BB version online and or in stores? or can you also pick it up that day in stores on release day?
Also which store has the draw sting bag?
LordofThePrimes
I already pre-ordered the Best Buy exclusive and the Walmart one with the figs of BB,OP and Stinger although I'm giving the actual Walmart Blu-Ray to my cousin and the Best Buy Blu-Ray for me.

I want that 4-pack so bad, but I'm getting the 3D version. Why can't it bring 3D?
Joyraid
Whoever designed the quad pack seems to think they still have to pretend it's Shockwave who's the major bad guy in DotM rather than Sentinel Prime.
LegendAntihero
That sounds cool. I want that poster

The hobbit an unexpected journey had 11 or so releases on release day, and that's excluding the extended edition released a few months later which added 7 more releases into the fold. So… Yeah.
MasonPrimeX
Such an OUTSTANDING Movie I'll watch it 100 times
DarkSkyfire
Specifically, what movie has had more initial release exclusives than this?
Terrorsaur128
I hope you're joking, Michael bay has virtually nothing to do with the home release of the film lol. The exclusives are simply the work of paramount and the stores that carry the movie. If it's a big movie (which AOE clearly was) the stores know it's going to sell well, and they will do just about anything to one-up the competition to get more sales. And yes, plenty of movies have had this many and some have even more. Lol no wonder I hang out on blu-ray forums more often.

9 ways to repackage this crap? Impressive.
Eurobeatking
Curious, which store has the draw string bag?

I like the quad pack one with the original Autobots on
Omega Charge
I just preordered the Walmart 4-pack on Walmart.com 4-pack after seeing the gorgeous inner packaging; $34 for all 4 movies is a great deal (even if I have them all multiple times over already, lol). That brings the copies I have preordered to 3 (Amazon for the statue, Best Buy for the Steelbook, and now Walmart).
Now a heads up for anyone who isn't interested in any of the exclusives but would like a cheap price: FYE is offering preorders of the Blu-Ray for only $14.99 up until the day before release (September 29). You also get a FREE 2-sided poster with your pre-order (you generally need to put down $5 in-store at time of pre-order). Offer is in-store only.
A pic with the poster:

I think I'll get the Best Buy version. But do they all come with special features? I only buy if the blu-ray comes with it. I waited for the DOTM version Best Buy edition with spacial features.
Grimmjow
So the Best Buy steelbook doesn't have the 3D? That's bullshit.
kaiserlisk
This is just all sorts of beautiful.
DarkSkyfire
Bay has taken milking dvd/blu-ray releases to a new level. Has there ever been this many exclusives for a movie release? I put the Amazon statue in my cart, will pick it up if it hits $20. The most expensive version doesn't even come with 3D, that's for you.
eagc7
in those days the DVDs are no longer getting special features. now Blu-Rays are getting everything.
but yeah hopefully someone does, theres a user that posted the DOTM Making of feature on youtube

LOL getting the movie first before a deluxe Lockdown figure? hahaha Hasbro really still f*cking up their distribution/allocation methods.
I'm wondering what are the determining factors why Hasbro still screwing up distribution methods?
Well, if there's a worthy movie-bundle to get, i'd say it's the one coming with a Prime-Grimmy statue.
