Transformers 4 to Begin Testing for Male and Female Leads

Get ready Transformers fans! The powers that be (Paramount, Michael Bay) are set to begin testing for the new male and female lead actor/actress in Transformers 4! Thanks to a report from The Hollywood Reporter, we can give you a list of the names of the leading candidates! While Mark Wahlberg is set to play the lead male role, these two castings are for the YOUNG male and female leads.

For the ladies:

Isabelle Cornish
Nicola Peltz

For the guys:

Luke Grimes
Landon Liboiron
Brenton Thwaites
Jack Reynor
Hunter Parrish

These aren't the ONLY candidates, but they are the ones that the studio has admitted to taking part in the testing process. They are set to star with Mark Wahlberg, who was named last week to be the lead actor in Transformers 4.

We've included an image for each actor and actress listed. There are also some hints at the story were also released in the article. Click the title bar of the story if you'd like to be spoiled!

The lead young female role will play the daughter of Mark Wahlberg's character. The young male role will play the boyfriend of the young female, and will be a race car driver in the film.

From new heights(Mark Wahlberg) to rock bottom(Teenage lead characters.) Bay was going on a good track, I wish Josh Duhamel would come back. Then there'd be a "back-to-back" fighting scene with Duhamel and Wahlberg.

How about they search for a plot that sounds worth a shit, and characterization of the TRANSFORMERS first. Of course when the most simple, and best idea is to do a complete reboot, Bay decides to stay and continue the story. He is an idiot. He will always pick the dumbest, most farfetched, round about way to do something.

No, but you don't need a completed script to begin casting core characters. We've known that the film would focus on these three human characters pretty much from day 1 so having casting calls for them now is hardly unsurprising.

At this stage there's likely a complete synopis/overview of what the film will be able, and possibly a first or second draft completed.

Though I don't mind seeing the vehicles drive about - that is sort of fun allmost 4th wall breakingly so.

I can't say I can get over excited by anyone Bay casts very often - except he often picks the oddest ones... he previously managed to pick the only Australians who have not gone on to big things it seems.

I don't really care who play Mark's daughter/girlfriend/wife much more than I care who play Mojo the dog or who does voice overs in most videogames I suppose.

I don't really watch Transformers media for the Humans... (when I bother to watch or read it at all that is).

Still not seen DOTM buy the way.
