Technically Hong Kong is China so I guess its a wrap lol. Some of the other China based stuff may have already been filmed by a second unit.
evac167
Beat me to it lol. Maybe the china scenes are just aerial shots of buildings and landmarks

Michael Bay said there's 1 week of shooting in China after Hong Kong shoot.

Maybe there is but maybe it has nothing to do with the ham cast. I remember Nelson on S4TE said the same thing. Or something fell through and they decided not to do China proper. I guess we will have to wait for official word from Bay.
mrbrains
Maybe she's done with filming
tonyformer
Maybe someone should ask her lol

Now that they are done, I just have to keep my eyes out for merchandise and screencaps. Can't wait.

And so the long and painful wait for the Teaser begins.

Nicola Peltz is done. They still got to film in Chunghing and Beijing in China unless they already done that in 2nd unit.

A big battle is supposed to take place in Beijing which includes showcasing the destruction of 3 major landmarks in the city. The China shooting probably didn't require Nicola Peltz's involvement anymore.

I don't think it would've been done by 2nd unit while they were filming in Hong Kong because Michael Bay would've wanted to know how his explosions looked on film.

Unfortunately, because we're talking about communist China, there is a social media blackout which includes no Facebook, Twitter and Youtube. So even though they are filming in CHina, we won't know about it
Doug
I'm sure we will see the first trailer during the Super Bowl halftime again.

Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube are not the only ways the world gets news.

Weibo, Youku, and Weixin out of those filming locations will be solid. Chinese film everything.

We are now exactly 9 months from the release of Transformers AoE in theaters, since it starts June 27th,and today was October 27th.I am so wired to see all the leaked concepts of what figures we're getting this summer.I really hope Hasbro hits it out of the park and do every size class for the Dinobots.

And not to say anything is wrong with it but for me I am getting tired of all the sports cars and big trucks in the movies,I think they should add more flying vehicles like choppers and sleek airplanes.Oh and again I am so stoked we finally get the Dinobots (its about time). I am counting the minutes till June 27th.

Unfortunately, we won't be getting a Transformers film that is a combination of ground battles and aerial battles from Michael Bay. In the previous 3 films, the closest thing we got to an aerial battle was from TF1 with Starscream attacking those Raptors. Bay had the opportunity to have Jetfire to do some serious damage but decided against it and made him fight Skorponok.

So because of this, MOST of the battle from Age of Extinction will be on the streets. The only time we will get something that strays away from the car chase, ground battles is when they switch directors and its something they're going to have to do because I have a feeling that we might be seeing some of the greatest car chase sequence in AOE that its pointless to try to outdo it so they might as well change things up and take the fight to the air
Starscreamer95
Hooray! Bring on June!

um - how long did that take? Was that, like, less than six months?

Congratulations

Doesn't take long to build a pile of crap

Actress Li Bingbong told Hong Kong reporters that they will continue filming in the city of ChingQing in China. But didn't say for how long.

Agreed, But it doesn't matter. I live in China, and Have ways of accessing all social networks, All it takes is a simple VPN and the Government thinks your half way round the world. I Think we'll have plenty of news from Facebook.
Lurkertron
Awesome. All the filming of actors walking away from real explosions has been done as well as convoys of cars driving through somewhere from 100 angles. Now back to the studio to edit the shit out of it and add awesome cgi explosions to the real ones. Culminating in Optimus (post latest impotent bad guy execution) mooning at the sky and saying "I am Optimus Prime and I say derpy derpy derpy Durrrr" before the linkin park fade out.

Reimagining shmeeimagining.
toaprime
Alright. Best of luck to those making the movie. Now the long wait begins for things to leak!

I actually hope they have one come out sooner. Since we havent seen a Transformers movie in a while they should start promoting it a little earlier to bring more of an audience.
tonyformer
Ok guys, filming is not done. They are indeed still filming in China Proper.
It should be a weeks worth of filming maybe more. It appears that filming for Nicola and (maybe) Jack may be over. But there will be filming still. Looks like there will be a few days for a break. And then back at it Wenesday or Thursday.

You do realize that every movie takes about three to four months to finish filming right?

So point that out to the member asking the question.

I'm not the one thinking 6 months is too short of a span.

Well, actually, how big is the pile? Plus you have to take into consideration different rates of digestion. And location is key as well, if you're trying to make a tiny pile of crap in a field that could be difficult because then certain environmental factors can cause that pile to breakdown or be misplaced which would leave you with some crap, but not the pile you originally wanted. Long story short, stay off the movie forums.

Yup. My favorite part. I wonder if the toy news will be less exciting this year due to Hasbro seeming to crank up the security regarding stolen prototypes. Half the fun is seeing grainy cell phone pics of horribly mistransformed, unpainted toys and figuring out who they're supposed to be.
Lazerwave
I want to see some leaked photos on the robots soon, including the Dinobots.
