Transformers 3 Set Images - Ferrari 458 Italia Spotted

Definitely looks like a Ferrari from this distance, and the color of it isn't surprising one bit (hard to imagine them not going with the signature shade of red). Should be interesting to see who the new character is, and what they look like in bot-mode.

It's hard to tell from this distance, but is that a camera rig on the front of Bee there? Wouldn't mind getting a closer look at it, tbh.

I don't see what's different about Prime. A darker tone of red and blue on him?

Did Prime drop the white pinstripe and door flames?

I thought that the differences were bot-mode only. It's not like the movies are advertisements for Peterbilt.

Anyway, glad that the Ferrari's red. I've been wanting a solid red character in the series. Hopefully he gets an HA.

I dont think that they dropped the pin stripes, I think it's because they aren't really white, they actually are just a medium blueish color. As for the flames on the door, I think it's just the angle, blurriness of the photo and shading you simply can't see them

the red car should have been sideswipe.

I don't think there are any differences on Prime. I just think that we have too much blur from the photos and the lighting is changing the shading. Also the photo is photoshopped (rounded corners/background) and looks like the hue/saturation was toyed with (or that's a really bad camera, possibly cell phone camera). That could also debunk stories of a color saturation change on Prime.

Plus, wasn't there some new shots of Prime a few weeks ago? I don't think anyone noticed changes on him. Plus this model is a custom job. I don't think they'd tweak it much because this model is discontinued.

I'll be curious to see who they say is the Ferrari. My bet is on Hot Rod or Cliffjumper.

I'm surprised that the Ferrari is going to be red, because Bay commented on how poorly red vehicles photograph. But I sure hope that whoever it is that turns into the Ferrari gets a decent amount of screentime.

Prime's vehicle mode certainly doesn't look all that different from the previous films to me.

And to the writer of the news post on the front page, there ARE no differences in Prime's vehicle mode. Put a bad photograph against a screen cap from the movie and OF COURSE there will be differences. The door flames are still there if you look and nothing is different. Its just a bad on-set photo taken in secret. We've seen other pictures of Prime before this with the new Ratchet paintjob, nothing was different there. Please stop trying to send out the idea that everyone's vehicle mode is changing.

If you take a close look at the prime in the photo it does still have the flame imprint on the door, granted it still looks blue but as mentioned this photo isn't of the best quality, so I doubt they turned that flame detail into a super dark 'blue'

Its nice to get a first look at the Ferrari on set. I still wonder who its gonna be and what he'll look like. I also wonder if he'll have alot of screen time. Since he's being filmed next to bee, its a good indication that he'll have atlest a lil bit...

Dont worry General Magnus some people love finding a new way to blame bay of something new. Hope its hot rod and hope silverbolt gets introduce soon that way the autobots can finaly have autobot air support and a combiner!

That pretty much covers the thoughts I had after looking at these photos.

the movie designs change so much from G1 that it's hard to say who this ferrari is going to be, a couple of examples are Ironhide, Sideswipe and Skids. Skids was completely different from the way he was in G1, they made him a twin with mudflap and the only thing being the same was his name. So this red ferrari could be cliffjumper or hot rod but if we think about the movie designs it could be wheelejack, mirage or most likely a character that's not G1.

No differences on Prime what so ever.

Judging from the artificial border on the picture it's been snapped on an iPhone using the app 'Hipstamatic' which majorly alters the colours. It replicates colour reversal film and seventies kodak style shots.

The 'no red' excuse for Sideswipe was a load of nonsense. Red can cause bleed in images, but it's rarely a large issue - how would so many films heavily feature bright red sports cars if it was? I'm willing to bet that the Corvette Concept simply wasn't available in such shades and that was the car the corporate bullshitters had signed up for the production.

I bet that is just a camera mount on on Bumblebee for filming forwards or the passenger but I like to pretend it's a huge gun.. 'chuckle'.
