Transformers 3 Confirmed to Film in Chicago?

An anonymous news submitter has informed us that Chicago Studio City, the largest fiming complex between the coasts, has posted a sign indicating that Michael Bay's office can be located there at the studio. Given the report a few days ago that the director was scouting Chicago, Detroit, and Washington DC for Transformers 3, the sign seems to indicate that Chicago has been chosing as a filming location for the third movie.

Still possible. Hard to say what Bay would be using Chicago Studio City for. They have indoor studios as well as rentable office space.

And even if the majority of the movie does get filmed in Chicago, there can still be on-location shots in DC like Bay did in Jordan and Egypt.

Given that the first two films used studios in and around LA, he's actually going smaller.

Cool. However I still think they should wait an extra year for this flick. What happened to Bad Boys 3? I'd rather see that then TF3 to be honest. Haha.

I hope Bay will film in New Mexico again when he does shoot the film. But I hope he films in the city and not on a Military base!

Nice. Hopefully it's not all inside filming. It'd be sweet to plan a drive over, spend the weekend and maybe peep some movie being made.

If they were to start filming in Detroit, the entire western half of Downtown would have to be treated as part of L.A.(like it was in the first movie), or else it would be a major continuity error.

Darn, I was hoping for Bay to use Detroit for a filming site in TF3, so that I would have a good excuse to drive to Detroit and watch them shoot some scenes.

Oh well... it's Bay's decision where he wants to film at.

I think Bay and company have learned how to hide from everybody by now so I don't imagine you would get to see much if anything..then he's also good at deflection, you think he's here, when really he's over there
