Transformers 3 Autobot Rollbar Revealed

We can't call this a big spoiler after revealing Shockwave... So, here's Autobot Rollbar; the newest Autobot to join the 3rd Transformers Movie.

Throughout the past few days there had been numerous reports of a mysterious new Red Giant Jeep at the Transformers 3 set. TFW2005 Member EShadowP managed to confirm who exactly this new bigboy is.

But, this isn't the first time Rollbar appeared in the movie franchise. Head-on over to our Resources Section to see how he was portrayed before the third movie : Rollbar (Combat Series).

Those who know G1, will immediately recognize him as Throttlebot Rollbar from that continuity. If you guessed it correctly, then you can celebrate by hitting the Discuss Button.

UPDATE: The "T B" logo on the back of the vehicle stands for Tommy Built. Initially this jeep was built not for the movie, but YouTube videos (now taken down by Paramount) prove that the "turret" behind the vehicle is fitted with a Machine Gun and a N.E.S.T gunman will wield the weapon (Click here for the image). I definitely hope that they've moved away from the wheels-for-feet approach.

Thank Effing God non-GM autobots are starting to overrun the Chevy-bots. Plus I'm super happy because I have a thing for red jeeps. Here's my baby:

PS, Does anyone know what that metal arm coming off the back is supposed to be? I originally thought it was a camera arm, but these new photos seem to dismiss that theory.

Phew, finally after hearing excuse after excuse about not being able to fit the throttlebots into a live action film, they give in to fan demand. Now if only BB gets his ass handed to him and has to be refitted with gold parts.

I don't know how much I believe this one. I have the Decepticon version of that Autobot logo on the tailgate of my truck. Bought it and a deluxe figure in Beijing for $12 Canadian. Seems a cheap add on compared to the other vehicles they have used logos on ie: Ratchet, Optimus, Ironhide. Also, nobody else has their name on their vehicle form (except the twins license plates)

Maybe part of the mis-information campaign.
