The Arizona Daily Star is confirming that Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen will be filming for a few days at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base's Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group in Tuscon. This area of the base, known as The Boneyard, was identified previously as a filming spot but has now been confirmed and a filming timeframe has been set.

Super Hero Hype has reported a new filming site for Transfromers 2 in Air Force boneyard in Arizona, right now this is just a rumor though, here's the link:

Chaos Incarnate:
This could be cool.
saberconvoy:
Seems cool but whats a boneyard?
RedHeadKevin:
It's Davis-Monthan AFB, where the US military sends its old military aircraft for "mothball" storage, or to keep on hand for spare parts. There are examples of nearly every type of aircraft the US has operated in the past 50 years, all in various states of disrepair.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeet. I SMELL OCTANE/TANKOR!
Dropshot:
Definately a good site to film an action scene, I can see the decepticon airforce taking alt modes in that place.
Dropshot:
I just looked at some pics of that site and it's massive!

It is the perfect place to have Decepticons arriving to earth. It could be cool to make it a dramatic scene, as to be theopposite of the arrival of the autobots from teh first movie.
Dropshot:
Oops! Double post!
pscoop:
Holy shit!! Someone just called and told me this!! Yay!!
Silent_Magnus:
Is the abandoned airfield in GTA: SA based on that place?

RedWolf:
A Decepticon land and scans a plane in the boneyard.

Decepticons Transform and Rise up!

Turns to jet mode then in midflight...

"Slag! They left a piece out!" Crashes to the ground.
Laserbot:
