We've been waiting to announce this for a little bit and here it is:
Tony will be taking part in this summers biggest blockbuster ...
TRANSFORMERS 2 !
Now who he is going to play is still under wraps, but we can say...
don't look for him because you wont see the man himself...!!
Thats all we can say for now!
This is going to be one helluva a summer !!
| Hopefully a full voice list will be unveiled before the June 8 premiere.
coxy:
my gut feeling is either jolt or one of the constructicons
Orbital:
he did the devils voice in final destination 3, so he most likely will be voicing a decepticon Joe Moore:
Tony Todd is the man. A great actor and a great voice.
AnimatedFan:
Yeah, he won't work as an Autobot. At least not one of the current cast. They're too young, too positive to have such a dark and gravelly voice.
He'll most likely be cast as a Decepticon...or he'll be one of the ancient Primes we heard about in the novel spoilers thread.
Add a bit of echo, some vocoder and he'd be an excellent ancient Autobot Prime. (In fact, I'd bet that's exactly what he'll be.)
Mulletron:
he'll probably voice the fallen... but we'll see.
Soundwave84:
he does have a deep voice so i am going with Decepticon of some sort
iwasherenotyou:
ooo ooo ooo i know!!! rampage!!!! maybe

He seems like he's the Serious Business Autobot to counter the Twins' goofiness.

Most recently he played General Juma on season 7 of 24.

He'll most likely be cast as a Decepticon...or he'll be BIG FUCKING SPOILER.

SO THANKS. Scourgatron: Quote:

I'm with Overlord54. The Fallen seems likely to me. We know it's Obi-Wan's voice from The Clone Wars in the game, but there's been nothing about the film casting other than the Nimoy rumours. If it were me, I would save Nimoy for Galvatron (and introduce him as a separate character like the IDW comics) -- think of the fanwank!
Aptom:
hes going to be chromia. joking aside i love this guy. he has a great voicen that would suit the fallen so well.

AND CALM DOWN!
I made a stupid mistake. I'm so sorry I'm not perfect. I forgot we can't all be like you. Get over yourself. You know there's spoilers all over the place, so just avoid the boards. And if spoilers can ruin the movie's experience for you, then maybe you shouldn't be participating in the experience. It's obviously not going to be good enough for you, now.
How ridiculous.
Oh and no, I didn't know you had no intentions of going into that thread. I'm not psychic, and I forgot I have to run everything by you before I post.
You're...not worth the ban. I'll shut up.
Rodimus Mike:
Have freakin mercy this is AWESOME,I have seen him a lot of movies, did anyone know that
early in his career he did some work in Disney, forgot what but he did.To me anyone who is
that talented is great in my book. Can't wait to see him in ROTF.
Coolhand:
He's Wheelie. Clearly.
C'mon, how awesomely funny would that be? Stormcrow:
Very cool. He has a great voice. They're really lining up some great vocal talent on this one.

this guy has a very deep voice. playing a badass evil robot is a great voice over fit for him.

You're...not worth the ban. I'll shut up. | No need to make it personal, ya know. Sorry if what I said offends you, and yes, I know people make mistakes. Still it's pretty stupid.
Do you honestly believe me to just not go to the boards for months because I don't want spoilers? If people would just use common sense there would be no problems. I don't generally have a problem with character announcements, but what you said is a big clue as to what the movie will be about, which is a plot point, and that's a bigass spoiler to, ya know, people that don't want to know how the story will go beforehand. It takes away surprises, I hope you can understand that instead of turning what you did wrong into how I'm wrong.
If you want to talk about something spoilerific, start a thread that says *spoilers*..heck, if you would have just put that in your post, I would have noticed something spoilery would be there, so I could have skipped your post. Now your posts reads like a death trap, as the spoiler comes totally out of the left field.
I'll still love the movie, but yes, knowing alot of the plot beforehand and connecting the dots between those parts DOES ruin a movie for people.
If you have a problem with what I said feel free to report the post or contact a mod about it.

Wheelie demands that "rich like morning coffee" vibe that only a seasoned pro like Tony Todd can provide.
spiritprime:
Well this is interesting news. But since I don't know much about the Decepticon cast, I'd say he could be voicing a Red Shirt Con or maybe one of the Ancient Primes that we heard from the spoilers about the novel. Ya know?

My money's on the Fallen, since John Turturro (Simmons) has been noted as Jetfire. Tony is a fave of mine; he just can't seem to stay away from SciFi
I just really, really hope that Ratchet & Ironhide's voices are more distinguishable from each other. I liked them, but in the battle scene it was near-impossible (was on the first viewing) to know who was talking if their face wasn't in clear sight.
SmokescreenGT:
My guess is the Fallen, but Devastator would be a good choice as well. Tony Todd is awesome! optimus124:
Either The Fallen, a Constructicon, or Devastator. More likely The Fallen if anyone

DarthP00P00:
I bet he'll be Longhaul...
Crumplezone:
I doubt Devastator will talk(I believe he just grunts), so I'm guessing The Fallen( But I want NIMOY!) or maybe a constructicon. For some reason I think Sidways.
I heard him in Batman: Brave and the bold like 2 weeks ago. He has a great voice for a decepticon.
Fairlady_Z:
I don't care who he voices. I've loved Tony Todd ever since his Star Trek work. I just hope he has enough lines to make it worth it.

He's got a great voice for this kind of movie. Great choice.
Stahi:
I applaud this decision whole heartedly.
Am I the only one who'd think it'd be killer to hear him & Keith David get into an argument?
LightningZERO:
Very possible The Fallen
Paladine:
Clearly, as Kurn commanding a Klingon vessel, he will detect the Autobot and Decepticon warp signatures as they approach Earth, and set course to investigate.

You seen him in this season's 24? He was scarier than Candyman. Nice find Casting crew.
He was also in Wishmaster 1.
