NBC/Universal employees are on the ride now for a special preview night. There's a 1:1 All Spark replica for $225!



I asked if he saw a deluxe Evac there but hasn't answered. Edit: No sign of Evac yet

IIRC, this is using the same technology that was in Paramount's Amazing Spiderman ride.

I rode that thing SO many times because my dad loved the hell out of it, and I had to agree with him. I'm still flabbergasted at how they made me feel like I was falling at one point when the vehicle car wasn't moving along the track AT ALL, just motion simulator pistons working and the film.

A 1:1 scale Allspark? Roughly how big is that? I mean...1:1 scale compared to who? lol At 225 bucks, if it's nice...i might throw down and buy that when i go there for the May 4-6 preview night

He said it was about 1.5 ft square. That might even be a 2:1 scale or bigger, because I think the one Shia carried around was only about 7 in square. He said it was made of pewter so it's got some weight to it.

Out of curiosity..why are you guys saying tomorrow? As far as i know, the preview night for annual ticket holders isn't until May 4th-6th.

Tomorrow is the employee preview. + There are rumors of a short soft opening to the public later in the day.

The ride is now open to the public for Tech Rehearsal. But it can and will close at any time.

Weird since that's what the email i got called the May 4-6 dates. "Tech Rehearsal". I wonder what the point is in the RSVP if they're already letting people on it now

The May 4-6 is an AP Exclusive date. Right now is still considered testing.

He'll be at the grand opening.

Also, I like how on the front page the video window is now the freeze-frame of Cullen recording his lines with Optimus next to him, rather than Peter Jackson and some guys sitting on the King Kong 360 Ride. Much more fitting.

Ooh! I forgot I wanted to go today! I forgot I had a car show scheduled today but learned last night that it was cancelled. Woot!
