It appears as though Grammy nominated American electro house musician Steve Aoki is involved with the Soundtrack of Transformers: Age Of Extinction. A few hours ago, the artist Tweeted saying that he’s discussing Transformers 4 over dinner with Director Michael Bay:
“Discussing war politics between the autobots & decepticons over dinner w/ #michaelbay s4te #transformers4”Mr. Aoki recently collaborated with Linkin Park to deliver a song for their latest album “Recharged” (not counting Underground 13). “A Light That Never Comes” reached 55,000 downloads during the 1st week of release in US alone. You can check out the music video, after the jump.

Hard dark song sounds awesome.

Glad I'm not the only one. It really seems to fit with the tone we can see right now.

Finally. All the endless speculation was really getting out of hand and taking over the boards.

Thank goodness. I can't stand Twinkin' Park.

i'm not a big fan of linkin park.. i don't mind their music, and i don't hate it.. i believe their songs were pretty good for the first three movies.. but, as well as they fit, i'd still prefer something new and something fresh for this next trilogy.. something that'll give it a different feeling. linkin park has their own style, so no matter what their song would sound like, i'd still prefer something different.

Personally as I love Linkin Park and have been following them since they hit the scene. And as a transformers fan, knowing that one of my favorite bands was doing the movie(2007) made me get into the movie much more. I know Linkin Park is not everyone's cup of cake but i must say that the song choices for the films are clearly well thought out and definitely fits the ending/scene that they were played in.
I get the feeling the song Guilty All The Same may be in the movie. Just a guess.

Well if it's good news then great. I don't know enough about these Hollywood names to comment accurately

Can't say I notice the movie's Music over much one way or the other – beside new trilogy might be a good time for a change anyway.

If you listen to music in trilogy you would have heard of there three songs what I've done credits of first movie, new divide in second of first scene , in third one when you feel cold sadness and frustration humans go into city for final battle fight sentinal prime

Who said anything about the 80's? The G1 movie was awful, who wants a musical? I just hate generic, shitty music.
Murasame
I wonder, why is it always Orchestral, Hip Hop or Rock? Why not Electronic anymore? In the past movies had so great electronic music. Think of Terminator for example! And now there is much more possible, much cooler sounds. And electronic would be more fitting to a robots movie.
Rumblestorm
And go back to 80's music I assume?
Lol, dream on.

Goddamn they dodged a bullet with this. Now get rid of those talentless hacks wailing about a new age and we'll be all good.

Oops, I thought GATS was part of the already released album.
Cyber Star
I'll be sad if they aren't involved in the film.

GATS is from The Hunting Party, which drops in June.
Are you thinking of A Light that Never Comes?
fallen_revenge
That's from the old almbum, they have a new one coming out in June.

I think this is the most pertinent point of this information.

I'm so glad. Steve Aoki makes some really bad mainstream dance music. You know… the kind all the douchebags make party to.
