That random concept car caught outside the Chevy car carrier on the Chinese set? We're told it's a Corvette concept car and received a paint job from Chip Foose's team. Oh yeah, and we also have pictures to back that up.

If Tracks is in the film, I wonder if he will have the same effeminate, yuppy attitude. It'd be really weird to see that in the 2000s. Back in the 80s, I could see that personality/stereotype working but I don't know if it will vibe with the current era. Kinda like the 1940s type attitude by the villainess in the episdoe Society of Ultimate Villainy from Transformers Animated. That didn't work well at all and I'm sure only a very select few got the reference.

This is one time when I hope they TWEAK his personality a little. They don't need to carbon copy the effimate yuppiness but make him arrgoant and vain. Like keep most of his personality but tweak other things - like the flaming-ness or the yuppi-ness.

That Corvette concept is awesome. Is it just me or does it remind anybody else of a Stingray, but a bit more futuristic? Foose doing the paintjob should make for a really great looking car in the end. Also, is it odd that the Camaro is getting a new paintjob? Maybe Bumblebee decides to go with a different color scheme part way threw the movie, or something like that.

I'm probably the only one here thinking that would make a decent, if not great Soundwave.

i agree...i'm a huge fan of tracks, but he could use a slight tweak in his personality...however, either way, i'll just freak out if its tracks...this is making me want to setup all my tracks together now...

Sweet cars, the corvette is very futuristic. Reminds me of Hot Rod, but I think it would have to be tracks. Either way lots more bots for lots more action.

What the hell is this 'Stinger'? It better be Tracks. It makes the most sense. If they name it anything else fans are going to be like 'wtf?'

Hate to disappiont, but that attitude is alive and well, only nowadays we call it Metrosexual. And that "vain yuppie attitude" pretty much summed up his personality back in G1. Now that snobby up faux upper class english voice they used for the cartoon will be long gone, unless....this is the "Stinger" that the movie leaks keep referring to or someone thinks it will be funny to make the vain transformer well...effeminate.

I doubt very much this will be Tracks just because it is a corvette.

If movie Ironhide and Ratchet got new colors and new alt modes from their G1 incarnations then a lower tier character like Tracks has almost no chance of resembling his G1 version, let alone even being chosen to be in the movie.

It's probably the new character Stinger, like the callsheet says, that or Stinger is a fake name they are using and it ends up being somebody like Hot Rod or Wheeljack.

It would be nice if the Corvette was either Hot Rod or Tracks, but Michael Bay probably doesn't even know who either one of those guys are.

It could be just a bad picture, but I'm not as impressed as I'd like to be with this. It sorta looks like they took a more conventional sportscar and stuck a body kit on it. It's just not as cool as that rumored Saab Aero X was.

It would be awesome if they include both, but I'll be very surprised if they actually do.

I think you mis-interpret "wanting the Corvette to be Tracks" as "thinking the Corvette must be Tracks".

I just like Tracks and want him in the movie, even though I have no reason at all to think the 'Vette is Tracks.

Tracks is on my list of "Autobot cars I want to see in the movie" along with Wheeljack, Sunstreaker and Skids.

I think you missed my point by a long shot. I'm not close-minded or anything, I even said I am not thinking "the Corvette must be Tracks". I'm just sayin' I like Tracks, want him to be in the sequel, and if he turns out to be the Corvette it'll be awesome.

True, it doesn't have to be Tracks at all. It could be Omega Supreme for all we know. If Alt modes bear no resemblance to their G1 forms then they could name-slap whatever they want. Call it Autobot Shockwave for all we know. Or even Unicron or Primus. If Devastator can be one single tank then there is no reason why the Corvette above can't be Omega Supreme.

Why couldn't it be the last of the best/best of the last? GM would most likely want you to think its the best of the last cars that came out. Why wouldn't they go with a name like Omega Supreme? It could send out "waves of shock and awesomeness" so thereby it could be called Shockwave.

Just like how many posters here will try to justify any decision the production team has made, so can others. Prime hiding under the bridge like a troll worked because S7's ultra modern radar couldn't penetrate concrete? Ratchet couldn't repair Bumblebee why now? Everyone gave reasons for those to rationalize them. The same can be done here.

Wait, Ratchet did repair Bumblebee. He got his voice back (okay, even though the writers had to mention it afterwards to clarify) and even spoke at the end and he's clearly shown in vehicle mode. Who else fixed him?

Dude, he's not just talking to you, he's referring the general group of people who keep think TRACKS every time they see this thing, just look at the older news posts.

Honestly, I hope it ISN'T Tracks. I'd like it to be a new Decepticon sports car, but we'll just have to wait and see.

You made my point for me. It had to be explained AWKWARDLY AFTERWARDS. Why? Because they didn't put much thought into it the first time. It was a very stupid script that people started defending as good. What exactly was wrong with Bumblebee's voice? Why could Ratchet not fix it before? Why was he suddenly able to fix it at the end? Sure, you could rationalize answers for the writer's laziness. Just as much as I could rationalize the new Corvette being called Scooby -Doo.

Awesome car. I'm guessing it's Hot Rod though. IF it's either him or tracks, or even JAzz, great friggin choose for the alt mode.

Or maybe, since they said Jazz was dead for good, they'll have his twin, Meister, come looking for him. That would be kinda neat, though. Sorta bring back Jazz without violating the dead rule. Also sorta fits with the Revenge of the Fallen theme.

Dunno. I guess because he's on one of those redneck "pimp my ride" type shows, but he draws some really awesome looking cars, all by hand with markers and paint. I appreciate his artistic talent.
