Ryan Church Revenge of the Fallen Concept Art

Ryan Church, who has provided high quality concept artwork for a number of films including Transformers Revenge of the Fallen, Star Trek and two of the Star Wars Prequels, has begun to release some of the concept art work that he did for Revenge of the Fallen on his personal website. These incredible images give us a unique look at the creative process behind Revenge of the Fallen, and also give us a different take on some of the locations that were only shown briefly during the film, such as the Decepticon starship's exterior and interior, as well as a certain weapon of planetary destruction.

Those final battle concept arts look a lot more epic than the actual movie, especially with the fully stripped down Harvester

Also interesting to see concept art for a scene with the Fallen and a human inside the actual Star Harvester

Correct. You need to know what scale these things are, so drawing a human in there automatically makes that clear for all of us..human beings.

Nice but why are the nemesis interior shots labelled Ark interior?

Some missing story element? would make some sense being called Ark what with all the pods

[ETA] just spotted one of the images is called Ark Nemesis cockpit...its the one that looks like if Giger successfully mated the Spacejockey ship from Aliens with the Deathstar throne room

In that shot of the Constructicons salvaging Megatron, one is clearly Long Haul, another could be Mixmaster .. but I wonder who the other two is.

Perhaps it might be the bot who got stripped for spare parts, the Volvo vehicle we saw on the ship?

The movie would have made so much more sense if they had used that construction site (from the concept art) during the battle at the pyramids. That would be why all the Constructicons were there (or rather, why all the Decepticons who landed there looked like Constructicons). And as I understand it, there really is a lot of construction work that gets done around those pyramids to keep them up in good shape.

Tisk tisk. They should have followed the art.

The 'pyramid construction' picture really reminds me of the base Megatron was building in MTMTE when Cliffjumper fired on him.
