Revenge of the Fallen Voice Actors for Arcee and Sideswipe: Susan Blu and Jason Griffith?

The dude that does Sonic's voice in recent games, right? Not Urkel.

Awww, I thought it was Miley voiced Acree , and Sonic The Hedgehog voiced a Transformers whats next Grimlock voiced by Mario.

From what early reviews state, Arcee has one line in the entire movie.

She could have been voiced by the late Bea Arthur, I don't think it would have changed much...

Not surprised. ROTF seems like the type of movie where they had to cut things early to make it fit the time. Just look at the combined Arcee...

I don't mind it, it just surprises me a little. It's a hell of a jump from 'Yu-Gi-Oh.' Or 'Chaotic'.

Something tells me his recent non-Sonic video game work might have helped with this.

I'd say a variation of his Sonic voice would fit Sideswipe. i think that fits.

Now when I fiddle with my Sideswipe, I'll hear his voice from one of the worst recent video game toons ever.

Dimaggio is voicing Sideways, not Sideswipe. I'm looking foward to hearing what Griffith has in store for Sideswipe, as I actually like his Sonic voice.

Probably because not many people actually stay for the credits. Most everybody splits as soon as movie ends.

it's ridiculous that they include arcee in this movie then scale her appearance to being really just a background charcter with one line and very little screen time....quite disappointing but as for susan voicing her that does not surprise me but I kinda thought they should have gone with a new person.

Anybody else starting to get a big misogynist vibe from Bay? Mikaela was just in the first movie for eye-candy, he bragged about killing off Arcee's combined form, and now the "Arcee" sister only has one line of dialogue in the movie. What gives?

Well, they'll definitely repaint Sideswipe blue now. But not as Tracks, instead as Sonic.

Sweet! Another G1 actor! So they get the Sonic guy? The only Sonic voice I know is Urkel. Haven't kept up with the games since Sega Genesis. I guess Sideswipe's gonna be moving fast in this movie.

I just hope it's not the sonic voice that he uses, can't stand it as recently it doesn't fit sonic and certainly won't suit sideswipe (if they're putting so much effects over the voices again this movie than I don't suppose it matters.

oh he better not use some whimpy voice, sideswipe is suppose to be badass.....like sega CD sonic....who doesn't talk.....if you watch the little intro and ending vids to that game you will see that sonic can be badass

Considering what Sideswipe says in the movie, I reckon sonic is a good fit (ish)

I don't believe I'm that familiar with Jason Griffith's work, so I can't really comment on that. Though I have my doubts that Sideswipe is going to sound like Sonic.

I hope Griifth uses his Atticus Rhodes voice from YGOGX or Slashur from TMNT or maybe he'll voice it super-synthesized like the rest of the non-TF veteran voice actors.

It's nice the Susan Blu to get the role as a throwback, and personally I could care less about Sideswipe. I don't think it really matters WHO voices him.

I wish Tom Kenny was Starscream. He ROCKED in TFA.

As for Jason Griffith voicing Sideswipe...eh...that's just terrible. The guy couldn't voice act his way out of a sandwich. Who's next? Huffer in Transformers 3 voiced by Charles Martinet (voice of Mario)? "Eetz-a-me, Huffer!"

It's nice that Sue Blu got the gig but I'm not convinced by Griffith, if he does a good job at voicing him then I don't mind. I couldn't care less about Arcee anyway, I just can't see myself getting her toy.

I generally care a lot about voice actors in general, it's just from all i've heard Sideswipe has a minimal role in the film.

I've heard this said a lot, and don't get it. Mikaela had to save Sam's ass from Frenzy. Then she had enough balls to jump into the middle of the battle, hook Bumblebee up, and push him to kill Brawlastator. Yes, she was portrayed as superhot, but she was also portrayed as a bad-ass.

To keep it on topic, I'm glad to see Susan get some additional voice credits in Transformers, and see her crossover to the live-action franchise. Awesome.

It nice to see Susan Blu get the Arcee role, as for the other guy can't say I know much about him so we'll see.

Yeah, Jaleel White voiced Sonic. I've never heard the original sonic voice though.

I'm fine with Sonic voicing Sideswipe, as long as he doesn't sound like sonic. Or at least changes it around a bit. Oh well. I was scared of what the Twins would sound like. But then came the trailer...

Ok, I looked up some vids of Sonic x episodes, and I have to say Jason Griffith's Sonic isn't all that bad. Personally he sounds less "whiny" then Jaleel White's(Urkel.) version. Though I will say, Jason's voice does come off as kinda bland.

At the very worst, I'd say he sounds kinda mediocre, but not terrible. I don't have a problem with it.


I agree. Though Fox may not have been able to play the part too well, that was the overall character.

Well, it doesn;t sound like Sideswipe is going to have a huge number of lines in the film anyway, so let's prey that they're "Sideswipe's my name, speed's my game!", "You're too slow!", "C'mon, step it up!", "C'mon, step it up!" and "C'mon, step it up!" Maybe he could sat the last line again for added emphasis.

Yay for Sue Blu, too; even if she does only get one line, I'll still get a kick out of it. Has any VA ever voiced the same character in three different generations before? Fit for natalie, McFeely, that question's for you guys...

Jason Griffith.... He's either going to sound really good or really bad as Sideswipe, but I'm betting it will be excellent. I like a lot of his roles, but some are really bad, or maye it's just the whole 4kids thing.
