It looks like a face in that container, and kinda like G1 Jazz

I do see a face, I don't see Jazz though. I wonder what that whole scene could be about.

And I don't know what the point of the explosion/running away pictures are. Movies where things blow up (and people are running around) are a dime a dozen. I'd assume they'd want to play up the caveat of 'things blowing up because giant robots are enjoying epic battles.'

Oh that last picture is interesting. Is it a spark?

Hate to say it, but rather boring pictures. It's a Bay movie so of course there is lots of running, yelling, and things blowing up. You know stuff you can see in any Bay movie so if you want some excitement how about a bit of robot instead of just a slightly different Prime.

Clearly in the tube there, that...is a man's....HEAD.

Well the mythology is certainly going to play a part just as Orci said. I think the story of this movie is going to be much much better than the first. More robots, decepticons wanting sam alive, the pyramids, under ground bunkers, this is going to be pretty epic.

this is because it is in the initial article. optimus prime looks like he got beat up by megatron,hit by a hurricane, got hit with himself,a grenade exploded in his face and got hit with a fusion blast

Prime still gets me excited when I look at him. And, what else has Sam learned that qualifies war? Something regarding the Fallen?

I couldn't have said it better myself. I think the Mags is back for sure. If the Fallen had done that, Optimus wouldn't be standing up.

Picture 1 is just a stylized post of Prime. Probably not even in the move but just a rendering for the magazine.

Image 6 leads me to wonder if they are going to try the AutobotX theory. Maybe it is a human soul in transit to be uploaded as a replacement spark for a transformer. That's some way back lore that could explain it.

It does look like a FACE, although it doesn't look real, or have any depth. But what does that mean?!?!?!

Too much humans also, but they're photographs. Did you guys honestly expect the CGI to actually run all over the movie set?
I'm excited about the film, despite my worries for one of those "quick sequel" crappy scripts.

Just a theory, but..

Given that Sam learns the early history of the Transformers, and Sector 7 seemed to know how to use the All Spark, etc..

Maybe that's one of the early progenitors? Or the closest thing we'll get to "The Matrix"?

Since it may be likely that there's a Transformer in one of those pyramid tombs.. I wouldn't put it past Sector 7 to have had one of the early ancestors captured and using it for information.

Imagine that head suddenly awaking and saying stuff like "The Fallen is/are coming." Imagine how spooked Sector 7 would be, probably enough to call on the Autobots for assistance?

Even more so, imagine if this head is calling out to Sam, causing his delusions, etc..

Prime looks all dinged up from battle. I agree it looks like an underwater decapticon base with somebody's "spark" in stasis.

that image with that thing floating around in the container reminds me so much of metroid. im REALLY positive i see a face in there. i was scared enough by the first transformers trailer i saw in 07 now this?

I gotta say, those pics aren't really that much of what I was hoping. Why show a pic of Ops, even battle damaged...despite how cool it is, we need a new former pic! The last pic with the container...that looks pretty sweet, what is in it is truly hard to tell. I need pics of the new characters before I can get excited atm.

I dunno why but those pics, even without new robot characters, already got me excited. Just stills of that military action was good enough for me

Lol, my thoughts exactly... what are people expecting of on-set production stills from a film with heavy visual effects elements?

Perfectly passable photos, anyway, and the battered Prime render is a nice teaser. First trailer should be fun, looking forward to that; hopefully that will still keep the robot reveals to a minumum tho - if you see it all beforehand, what's the point in going to see it on a big screen? Kids these days, sheesh...
