Primary shooting on Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has recently finished, according to Just Jared.com who have a selection of photos of star Shia Labeouf touching down at Los Angeles airport having recently completed filming.

However, the production of the film is not quite over yet as this report indicates. The report states that Michael Bay and a production crew were shooting at the Place de la Concorde in Paris, which included taking shots of the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. This is most likely the second unit which during a films production typically films landmarks and scenes that do not involve the main actors, as evidenced by the lack of the main cast during filming.

They're done in the Middle-East and the crew was spotted in Paris France filming that famous landmark that looks like a giant arch in the middle of the city. It was not anything action related, just them filming a news reporter doing some reporting on location.

Hopefully something blows up.

none of the main actors were on set but Michael Bay was there

with regards to Orci, he hasn't exactly been straight up with us. Only been saying things like "I think so, its possible, maybe, we'll see, I'll get back to you" Haha

It's probably second unit filming landmarks and less-important scenes. You can't have a scene in Paris without seeing the Eiffel tower or the Arc de Triomphe. Doesn't mean the actors have to go all the way to Paris to shoot action scenes.

Wish some of you would use some common sense before jumping to the conclusion of people being liars.

Seconded that. Except for a few questions about the first movie which he answered to some extent, the "ask bob" thread is 99% made of useless single-short-sentence answers with no real information.

I have a feeling that this movie is going to be absolutely huge. Anybody know what the budget is? The locations alone should be a big clue.

I hope this makes enough money to have space battles and battles on Cybertron in TF3. That would be badass!

Its almost november and Shooting is not over yet. (Awesome) No teaser trailer until very very late of November.

I believe that was refuted by Roberto on this board. As I recall, he said it was closer to $200 million.

Yes that would be great!! Especailly if one of them (ie Devastator) took the (oh screw it) BIG FREAKIN TOWER in Paris and smacked some one with it, now that would be great!!!!

For all the characters we heard are going to be in this movie Arcee, Devasator, Soundwave and so one. We sure didn't see a whole lot of them through out the shooting. We mainly saw Optimus, Ironhide, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Sideswipe, Cliffjumper and who ever the green car is. Not a whole lot of other characters
