Rachael Taylor confirms she will not return for Transformers 2

Wait, you're going to stuff words into my mouth and then tell me I'M the one going off the handle? I said I didn't care for her character, not that she was pointless. You extended what I said into a translation that was not at ALL what I said, and then when I disagree tell me I'm an asshole for not just bowing down and kissing your ass for trying to mis-translate what I said?

I'm sure I'll get smackdowned for this, but fuck you. I've had enough of people telling me what my opinion of the movie is because they can't see anything but black or white. You'd be shocked to find out there are shades of grey for some people in there. While I didn't care for her character, it's there, she played it, and it would make perfect sense to carry that forward for multiple reasons, some of which I listed. You translated that into "yes, let's keep pointless and useless characters." Not what I said at all.

I have my own opinion of the movie. It's not the same as yours. Can't handle it? Eat me. I'm done pulling punches on people who insist an taking my every word on movie continuity and trying to shoe-horn it into either the haters or the lovers camp. I don't fit either, and don't particularly want to.

I wasn't aware that you had to be a chef to be able to say that the food tastes bad.

I cared not for any human character besides Sam. I'm apathetic because I figure that she will be replaced by an equally uninteresting character in an equal amount of uninteresting movie time. I didn't think she affected the movie much, though.

I think she's a horrid actor, a pointless character, and deserves not to be in the new movie as it can only bring MY enjoyability of it down.

The only thing I didn't like about her character, or more specifically her character's experience, is all the crap she had to put up with from Keller and Co. She reminds me of a female character in a Dan Brown book called, "Deception Point". I thought that Megan Fox was halfway believable - during the scene with her jock boyfriend Trent DeMarco, and also when she was driving the tow truck in the last 30 or so minutes.

Her character was important as far as helping to decode the Decepticon shriek at the beginning of the film, but I can't understand why she was in the rest of the film - in my opinion, I think that she didn't need to be seen after the beginning of ACT II.

I wish that people were cast in films not just because of how they look, but moreso due to their acting abilities. This is just like much of the music industry - more of an emphasis on looks versus an emphasis on talent - just because someone looks good doesn't mean they can sing a lick or carry a tune, or act a scene.

I don't know how good she is as an actor because I've only seen her in Transformers and bad acting is pretty much a signature of a Micheal Bay film. Honestly unless you are some crazed fan boy can you name any good acting in any Micheal Bay film?

Really seemed like all her character did in the first film was to look cute and set up jokes for the fat guy. Not exactly vital roles in a film about robots that have taken their war here to earth. Although as gods horrible weak and usless as the Decepticons were they could have had her character kill a few Decepticons I guess.

I can kind of see where she might be upset that the most robotic thing in the series Megan Fox is going to be back and she's not. But hey if she wants to be more than just something cute then she's going to have to find work in something where the actors are there for more than just setting up the next special effects shot. If she's got talent I'm sure she will land some other Hollywood film.

Ditto, I don't get the majority of the complaints about her bad acting when nearly everyone in the movie acted horribly. Her acting wasn't any worse than Anthony Anderson, John Turturro, Megan Fox, the parents, and Tyrese...hell the entire cast. Not that its a bad movie, but MB movies don't really excel in the acting department...ever. Its like buying a dozen rotten eggs, eating them all, and singling out one because it made you sick.

I guess I'm one of the few who didn't think she did a bad job at all. At the very least, her performance was serviceable. Not any worse than Megan Fox's performance, because, let's face it, is a woman in a Bay film really there for her acting merit? That and I personally found her a lot more appealing than Megan. That's just one guy's opinion, though.

Well, as long as this "Alice" that the OTHER Aussie gal is playing is different, I don't see why they couldn't have worked her in. Frankly, I can't see why she'd not "fit" any better than Sgt Epps' wife, or this new geek-buddy Sam is going to be running around with.

I liked that it wasn't a greasy, fat, *male* computer geek.
