I was able to pre-order the 3D blu-ray combo pack at FYE for the free poster giveaway promo. I'm a happy camper now.

Is this only in the States, or in Canada as well.

Smart people don't identify themselves nor others as neither smart nor stupid. Smart people know that one's intelligence level isn't based on whether they choose to pre-order something as irrelevant to actual intelligence as a movie. Smart people don't condemn others for enjoying their hobby and making their own choices.
Smart people are smart. Not arrogant.
Just sayin.

Oh look another fan who thinks their opinion is fact. I enjoy the movies, I've enjoyed many of the tv series that have come out. If you just want the same thing over and over again, just rewatch your favorite series. I personally think reinventing the series brings new life. If you don't want Transformers to change you don't have to watch anything new.

Smart people know not to troll a large community of hobbyists.
Smart people know when to talk and when to STFU
Smart people is a term that doesn't include you.
Jetstorm
Well I don't know what universe *you're* talking about, but the Bay movies seem to be pretty respectful of the "lore" while putting their own spin on it.

What denial? I really enjoyed the movie. Should I deny my own opinion just so I could agree with yours?
14thPrime
Nah I'm not stupid. It's called being rich. 'Smart' people won't have a chance at any of my collections. If I get bored with them I'm still keeping them and simply buying a new one.
Starscream Gaga
I think you mixed up "smart" and "stingy".
vektsilver
This movie is a total pass sorry!!
Tired of Michael Bay crap story movies. Its just one big ILM demo that is boring as hell. Never mind that he craps all over the universe and characters you are all supposedly fans of but hey long as it looks cool.
There is so much denial in these forums!
LegendAntihero
None that I've heard
Optimus423
Any word on the 3D Blu-ray version?
Pinky Prime
Way to be a dick.
I don't mind ordering it early and paying the extra money, I just want the movie.
OP84
Thanks for calling me and almost everybody else on this site stupid. We really appreciate the kind words.

I decided to preorder the Amazon BluRay. I ordered deluxe Lockdown and needed an extra $18+ to get free shipping, so I thought, eh, might as well…
Chaos Muffin
Many smart people are successful and a little preorder doesnt make a dent in their wallets. Leave it to the less fortunate to find cheap ways around it. Must suck being a step behind and having to wait on a stupid person for their hand me downs.
Menasor
I have the Amazon edition with the Grimlock/Prime statue pre ordered. Not sure if I'll end up keeping the order though because it's not showing it as the 3d bluray. If it was 3d+statue I would be completely sold on it.
Digilaut
There's a difference between not agreeing with the pre-order culture, or not agreeing with paying full price, and presenting your opinion into something that's outright insulting to other people. Is it too weird to fathom some people just really like something well enough that they want to secure a new, fresh copy on day one, and that the price difference between 'new' and 'barely used' is not important to them?
When you talk about 'stupid people who pre-order' you're not insulting a vague and faceless group, you're insulting fellow fans right here. Don't be a jerk to people. Basic etiquette 101.
Just sayin
(And no, I'm not preordering this)
Angry Camaro
I might buy two if the best buy or target exclusives don't have the IMAX version!
