How many more human characters are there going to be in TF3?

But a "dark" character? Hmm... I wonder, does that mean there will be some evil humans working alongside the Decepticons, or just an organization with some dark intentions regarding the Transformers race as a whole?

I wondered the same thing. Even I've lost count. More "Big Name Stars" mean more cash being dished-off. I wonder what the budget is for TF3?

Since when has the transformers movies been about, you know, transformers? It's about Shea trying to get laid. Add some atrocious jokes, bleak dialogue, annoying supporting cast members, and once in a while, an underdeveloped robot with mindless explosions and you have a Micheal Bay movie. I mean, a transformers movie.

I've always thought a human villain would be interesting for the films. I kinda hope that's what he's hinting at, and not just another pointless pretender character.

Yeah, all these name actors will eat up a good chunk of the budget. And they all tend to get their own scene-stealing moments to showcase their talents. - Which can lead to the storytelling becoming confused and unfocused.

But there's always a few that genuinely improve the film.

-another pretender, this time one that actually infiltrates something worth wild (not sam's love life)
-or someone who works for the deceptions. (hopefully in some seat of authority)

Interesting, I liked in him Can't Buy Me Love - I'm eager to learn who he's playing, they could do interesting things with a human villain.

I'm very surprised by the casting for this movie...it seems like they are really trying to tie in some big names (not that the first two didnt have any) to the cast. I'm curious to see what he will be doing in this

more and more,and I hate to ask but could you take out that part about

And if it I do go see it,I am gonna take my girlfriend so we can pass the
time while all these crap actors are on the screen,then just watch the Autos

Heck, why not use of these sure to be obscure human characters to create some sort of Headmasters/Targetmasters spin off. If Cartoon Network can generate a relatively successful Star Wars TV series, Transformers can also stand the same chance. Of course that would all depend on the writing of said spin off. The last several Transformer series have suffered from the same problem, dumbed down for children with no real plot or developing story line.

And now Kurtzman and Orci are writing for Transformers Prime, Is it that hard to find someone with talent. I live and go to school in LA, and I can tell you theres talent everywhere. So why are the same people doing everything?

Star Trek being good had more to do with the director than the script.

Actually, TFA did have a rather good story and plot going on. It just seems the more cartoony, or "dumbed down for children", visuals put off some people from recognizing it. Which is sad. Cause TFA was pretty cool.

I agree just when it was getting good, it got cancelled. And if japan makes new episodes they will have great animation, but unfortunetly will be based on love and caring. Thats why I stopped watching anime. Now if we could get some good American writers and Japanese animators, that would be worth watching.

Wow...we have this much complaints about too many humans? I don't understand all this... We don't know what their roles will even consist of. For all we know, they are a bunch of 5 minute roles. Like Bobby Bolivia...he had what...3 minutes worth of screentime? For all we know about Malkovich role being rumored as Sams Boss, may be a whole couple minute scene. The professor scene lasted 3 minutes, followed by a 1 liner during the credits.

I guess what I am trying to say is, we don't even know what the plot of the movie is. They haven't even started shooting, and the movie isn't due out for viewing until next year... We need to stop freaking out because they added X human characters, that may be in the movie for nothing more than a quick scene.

Cmon guys...we don't need to freak out already over humans being in the movie. I've said it before and I will say it again: These TF movies are not pointed solely at "fans", they are meant to be pointed at a general, I say again GENERAL audience. This way, more than just us little nerds on our little internet forum, see the movie.

The problem is these movies are not aimed a fans at all, the only thing they have given us is Peter Cullen as Prime. Honestly if it wasnt for us there wouldnt have been a movie to begin with. Hasbro saw the forums, Botcon and the interest in the Takara reissues, and said lets do it. I just think we deserve better.

Ugh, why do you people still complain about humans. Guess what guys the movie is about the humans not the robots that's how it's always going to be. And for all those whining that we need to some new transformers how about we just have a select few, I mean hell most of them didn't get any screen time in ROTF

Good grief there is so much crying about nothing. Just because these guys are in the movie doesn't mean they're going to have big roles. They could be on screen for a scene or two.

Quit bitchin. People get mad about crap acting, then they add some decent actors (hopefully to push the script better) and people start bitchin about too many humans in a script they haven't read. STFU and wait to see the movie, THEN you can bitch to you hearts content about there being humans in a Transformers movie that takes place on earth where there are only about , hmm 7 BILLION PEOPLE.

Can we all stop griping about things we have no idea about. give it a chance. the creators of these movies know that ROTF wasn't really fantastic. im sure that with no writers strike this will be as good as the first or better. i still love this continuity, flaws and all. give it a chance. as far as this being a dark character, thats really exciting. especially if he plays a human character.

I dont care that there are humans characters, I just dont like the casting. For the most part that is.
