Well we can see a camera actually paying attention to it in this shot... I still dont see how this would seriously be in the movie, though, it still seems like a red herring.

This is obviously part of a GI Joe crossover, within the movie. That truck is Ice Cream Soldier's ride, in the film.  Starscream NZ:
I want him to be able to shoot lasers out of that ice cream on his hood. It would be awesome to see laser-firing ice cream cars.

The budget is big but not big enough to worry about a distraction vehicle and driver and a camera crew to follow it around in. As if production wasn't already impacted with Shia's hand injury. I think its Wreck Gar.

Which I got from a link on the video's page. Has some interesting pictures up for some characters. Jetfire in particular bears some interest. While his CG render probably is fake, the sketches look very authentic, including the note attached about 'autobot sympathizer'. Probably just prelim sketches for the CG work of the fake, but still bears some interesting ideas and possibilities for the movie.
Other than that, that ice cream truck has me curious. All things I've read say he's a decepticon, all the fans say autobot. No clue which he'll really be.

This reminds me of an Ice Cream Truck we had in my neck of the woods growing up. Strangely enough on this side it had a double sided cone called "Twin Twist"

I dont want to spoil anymore of the movie for myself, but you guys seem to insist on going beyond what was done with the first movie news and recording every little thing. Yes its an icecream truck but still it could have been a surprise laugh when the movie airs.

Hopefully this is more of the bullcrap news that Bay is spoon feeding us. Unless its a really badass Transformer(s) in robot mode, its a terrible idea. Hopefully the twins can split up, instead of being attached to one another like Rack 'n' Ruin.

Love the ice cream concept, as long as the robot is badass. Not every character has to have a super sports car, super sleek jet or a crazy armored tank alt mode.

I could easily see this being done for a teaser. Having it setup as an icecream truck driving around with no apparent purpose and the audience not knowing what the hell this trailer is for, then at the end it sees something (a decepticon or whatever in vehicle form) and takes off after it. The audience would still be like "WTF?", but then you hear a transformation sound and... well, you see something that makes everyone know it's transformers. Otherwise, they're probably going for the archetypical humorous side character. (which would probably mean that they'd be spending way too much of the budget on a character nobody will like)
