I think it's Laserbeak. He spotted Sam and co. and went to attack them but instead he smacked into the windscreen like all birds do. There is even a hole in the windscreen where his head might has smashed through. Just imo.

I don't want Ravage to be a scrawny cat but with this design (and Frenzy's) it's looking more likely

I'm with you on this one...why couldn't it be Rumble. I'd say it is a better chance of it being Rumble than Ravage or Laserbeak...I mean the names alone just don't fit the guy...Rumble as Frenzy implies nothing with the name...While Lazerbeak makes you think bird-like....and Ravage makes you think....Okay I got nothin' for that one...but still...My vote is Rumble or some entirely new character....Prolly one of the weapon characters we heard about...Yeah...that's it.....He turns into a killer mop or something....Dunno?

Frenzy was in the cartoons... Red version of Rumble... Anyway, my guess is Laserbeak... This looks more like a bird then a panther.... But then again, it s not the G1 cartoons.... But I still go with Laserbeak... Rumble will probably not be in the movie cuz they already made Frenzy... this will be repetitive... Laserbeak or Ravage.. on the other hand is original cuz they re animals like robots... Laserbeak all the way!!!!

Don't you mean Frenzy was the blue version of Rumble? I mean afterall, it was only the toy that had the label switched around.

It's definitely a Soundwave minion, there's no denying the resemblance to Frenzy. Heck, it even has the same 4 arms, so I'm voting Rumble.

For all the people saying anything BUT Rumble or Frenzy, go see the video. He moves EXACTLY like Frenzy did in the first movie. I really liked Frenzy in the first movie, so I'm hoping he gets some sort of upgrade ala this for the sequel.

Just watched the video, and while I don't think it's Frenzy, it's most likely something very close to him. Most likely Rumble, or maybe even Frenzy with an upgrade of some sort. looks pretty good for just a prop.

i don't like the idea that Transformers can re-format and take a new form. Sure it worked for Bumblebee but if all the Tranformers can do that, for example the assumption that it is Frenzy, then it makes the ability to re-format all too convenient to carry the movie forward.

People would start asking, why would his alternate mode be this when he could reformat himself to that instead? There are just too many conveniences about that. I just think its silly that people would assume that characters are taking new modes. That's like giving Optimus the opportunity to reformat himself to some different kind of truck. Same goes with Frenzy. Frenzy is the least favorite Decepticon, do you really think Bay or the writers would bring him back?

The reason why there is a character like this is because this is what a Transformers character would look like if its alternate mode was something LIKE A BOOM BOX, or a toaster or a microwave or any kind of house hold appliance. Remember Nokia-con?? If he were much larger, he'd probably look like that. This could also be what an XBOX 360con would look like. It doesn't necessarily have to be Frenzy

If it's anything like Frenzy (similar body shape), I'd say it's Rumble. To me, it looks like a protoform.

Then again, with the Medusa "hair", I wonder if it's a fembot. It could be, it could be not. That's just my opinion.

Rumble - Possability

Frenzy - Could be. his head was off in the movie and rebuilt its self whole later on with the help off the allspark cube energy, but what if his spark wasent in the new body.his body was left behind back when Mikaela cut it off. and maybe the spark (being most transformers have it in there chest) slowly rebuilt his head. His body was using the head like a puppet (Remote control car for example) through the rest of the movie.

True but it's one of the most likely possibilities given the design similarities. The other one is, naturally, Rumble.

Just because it looks like Frenzy doesn't mean it's a Soundwave minion.
Hell, movieverse Frenzy isn't even one of Soundwave's minions, unless they bring it up in movie 2.

I also can't see them passing up on having Ravage as some kind of cat-bot, there's far too much cool imagery and potentially sweet scenes to be had with a bigass evil robo-jaguar stalking humans and Autobots.

Having said all that, with the live action movies you never know.

Frenzy was actually one of the decepticons I liked the most in the movie. I thought he was kind of funny and a mean little robot. Actually I wouldn't mind if they brought him back in the second. Although to me the robot looks kind of dog like. I don't really see the bird like moves someone else had mentioned. Just looks like a small robot laying down on the hood of the car scratching at beating at the window.

A real good example why I have so much trouble getting into the movie look. Bad enough I can't look at the bots to know who it is but I had to have some really nice people point out where the head was just to know what part was the robot's head.

Darn I hope live action movie series are like cartoon series in that no look stays around forever. It's cool for the people that like the movie look, but I just can't seem to bring myself to like an overly busy jumbled look no matter how hard I try. Or at least I hope it's not always going to be too much to ask since some other comic/cartoon/movie franchises don't force you to guess who the characters might be.

With the dreads and what might be a beak I'm going to call him Predator Parrot until we get an offical name.

I'm not sure why people are having such a hard time making sense of this - ministargazer coloured it absolutely right, and facially it bears more than a passing resemblance to Frenzy.

The most simple explanation is usually the correct one - Bumblebee got new legs, Frenzy got a new upper body.

I see no good reason why they would introduce a second robot that is almost exactly the same as Frenzy, and call it something else.

Well, because maybe, people want to have someone other than Frenzy rebuilt. We can't tell for sure who it is gonna be, it could be Rumble, it could be Ravage, we won't know for sure until the movie hit. Plus merchandising purposes, you make differerent ones. Especially being Soundwave is in the movie. His character was known for multiple minions. Why have one...when you can have 4?!
