 | | | Mysterious Eyes on Revenge of the Fallen Superion Box Belong to The Fallen | | Posted on 11-23-2008 at 06:23 AM by Sol Fury | | We have received confirmation from the TFW TF2 Insider that the mysterious set of eyes seen on the officially released Revenge of the Fallen packaging images belong to The Fallen! Yes! Not only did the official images give us our first look at the packaging for the new Movie toys, but it also teased us with a look at the face of The Fallen himself!

when i first saw this and didnt read it i thought it was micheal bay's version of animated blackarachnia lol. Bottom Out:
its not a face, have you guys ever heard of the term matrixing?
thats what you guys are doing, if you dont know what it means, its when your brain takes an image and tries to rationalize it by giving it a familiar form, usually in the form of a face. We see matrixing when we look at the face on mars, when we see images in clouds, and when we look at the toy packaging
The "face" on the box does not match up with the comic at all either
DarkKnightPrime:
The biggesty reason why I tcould be a face, is that it just stands out, it porbably is a face, The rest of the box is kinda bland, i dont think hasbro would take the time to design that just for puting it on boxes, so im pretty sure its a face.
Bottom Out:
^its only a mirror image of its self, not like it would be to difficult to create, plus hasbro pays people to design thier box art, i doubt hasbro would be paying someone to just make a plain colored box
anyways, something i made to help debunk this image...lets see if this gets front paged kjeevahh:
you're 'debunking' it because the angles between a realistic piece of art and a comic interpretation are a few degrees out? and that isn't a bottom 'eye' any more than any of the other non-eye bits on the image are eyes.
there is one eye, with an angled piece of metal going across the middle of it, with a bend towards the outside of it. that's pretty easy to see on both, even if the heads are tilted foward and back by misisculely different angles. but still, if you really can't see it when it's literally staring you in the face..
Bottom Out:
not just degrees off, they dont exist at all in some cases
you guys are just matrixing

oh my bad, you have confirmation that this is actually the fallens face? You are speaking in absolutes so you must. What is your source?
Dont bother saying the TFWinsider either because that person has allready been caught out on a lie regarding soundwaves earth mode, plus the insider would have to be someone pretty high in the ranks to know about the hasbro toy box art as well as michael bay movie information - but then again if he was in such a position he wouldnt have made the mistake on soundwaves alt mode, and he probably wouldnt be a willing informant on the movie either

I think you need a time out.
MBSHOOT:
We are taking this to far. lol

Mumps:
Ok children, Lets all play nice until an actual full head picture appears. Whether the insider is right or wrong, we won't know for certain until the time comes when all is revealed to us officially.

OmegaVPrime:
I have no clue, what and or whom the insider is honestly run by, but it dissapointed me when it was introduce, so hopefully it will change my mind
Gadfly:
I don't know how to do pictures and stuff, but may I suggest that this "face" is Soundwave's?
Zero in on the pictures of the Soundwave figure that were posted today, and they're very similar, with the skull-like nose and all.

anyways, something i made to help debunk this image...lets see if this gets front paged | One is a drawing by an artist who is likely putting his own style into it if not basing it on unfinalized art work and one is likely taken directly from the model being used in the movie.

Bottom Out:
we'll see then wont we, only about 7 months to go
transmetal2dinobot:
bottom_out, you gotta chill dude. noone is taking the insider's word as gospel, it's just the next best thing to genuine information. like watching fox news.

anyways, something i made to help debunk this image...lets see if this gets front paged | Anyone can believe whatever they wish. NO ONE (In this thread, anyway) knows exactly what this image is. I didn't see the eye connection until AFTER you posted this comparison. Now there is very little doubt in my mind that they are indeed eyes. Of who, like you, I have no idea.

Being a mirror image of itself proves nothing. Symmetry exists everywhere you look. Unless you are the elephant man your face is symmetrical. Optimus' face is a mirror image in the plane through the nose. Same with every other bot in the movie.
As far as I'm concerned, your little image proves to me that the box art is most likely a pair of eyes. Of whos im not at liberty to say. The differences you mention are likely due to artistic interpretation. We WILL see however. I just think the reasoning that it is a mirror image PROVES it's just a design is bogus logic.

Ironhide2005:
Its the fallen diffently who else could it really be?Maybe galvatron if anyone else
Bottom Out:
maybe its no one...you guys are really feinding for new transformer movie news, hopefully some will come becuase this is getting ridiculous
they mirror image arguement wasnt me trying to say it wasnt a face, it was me saying that the design was very simple and most likely nothing..i mean seriously..why would there be a face of the fallen on a toy package that is so vague there is no point in it even being there. If it is indeed a face, its a very blurred face. I'll be keeping this thread in my favorites so when the information is revealed you can all eat your words. If I'm wrong I'll gladly eat mine

If I'm wrong I'll gladly eat mine | It might be a face, It might not be, but that the evidence points to it being some sort of face. I think people are just anxious. And there are similarities between the two images so it's not much of a stretch. It at the very least resembles that cartoon image you compared it to which I don't think was placed on the comic cover for show. And why would the image of the Fallen appear on a package labelled Revenge of the Fallen? I'll take a stab in the dark and say that maybe the title is a play on words... The Fallen could be both literal and figurative. We will find out. I love eating words btw. Goes great with pasta. It's just unfortunate that in my area, eating words is a delicacy and I don't have the opportunity to do it often.
Bottom Out:
there is no evidence of it being a face, there is only shapes that people are matrixing into believing there is a face. There really isnt any similarities betweent he two images other than those two eye peices being next to each other..thats about it though and that can be anything. Nothing about the image looks like eyes, they are only blurs of color. Another thing to consider, the toys in that ROTF packaging arent even ROTF transformers, that box art might not even be the box art for the movie. Quote: |

| It is thanksgiving tomorrow, maybe you'll get lucky
Bumblejazz:
I thought the two triangular parts at the top were the eyes

If I'm wrong I'll gladly eat mine | It's not a face. It's eyes. Eyes, especially evil ones, are the most important part of the face. And honestly, the likeness between this and the eyes on the comic is unmistakeable. Whose eyes they are I can't be sure of, but as I said earlier: it's Revenge of the Fallen toy packaging and a Revenge of the Fallen comic... Who else's eyes would it be?
Bottom Out:
we dont even know if the fallen is in the movie...dont give me that "oh it was leaked and then edited" argument either because thats hardly official. The argument of this being only eyes is less believable imo then it being a face though

There is an obvious connection on the box art, and the comic. Case and point
