Thanks for the pics but I think there are two different kinds of Excavator and Dump truck

http://www.coaleducation.org/technol...erex-RK400.jpg

It is a Caterpillar 797b and RH400

http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-...chmentid=10317

I don't think that is a RH400 because of which way the shovel is facing so the dump truck might be a different type.

Pretty close to equal in size compared to each other. Should make for shoulders that should be about the same size. Can't wait to see the articulated dump truck-bot's toy, along with the other CC's
.

I think the Komatsu HD465-7 is wrong and more likely it will be a 797b or a T282B. Or the HD465-7 is the same size as both of them.
GenZhao:
looks like he is right on, i guess there is 7 and not 6... although the excavator does look like an arm to me. Its hard to see it as only a shoulder. cant wait to see more of these bots so we can get a better idea of how devy forms

It would be a shoulder the same way G1 Scavanger was shoulder,
and instead of kibble forming the forearm+hand we'll have another constructicon.
Maximo Prime:
we'll really have to wait and see. on that list of what bot goes where, there's 2 shoulders, 2 arms, 2 legs, 1 head....no torso? (i mean obviously there will be one, or something...

Maybe the shoulder bots are half an upper torso as well, and the leg bots are half a lower torso as well. so two guys from the waist down, two guys forming the chest/abs/shoulders, two arm guys, and one head guy. or maybe the head guy is a head/chest guy.
cbff:
Or perhaps the Excavator and Crane are both the arms and shoulders? I could see the steam shovel as one hand with a wrecking ball for the other.

I mean, we've seen reports that he's built like a gorilla, so it would make sense then that the largest two vehicles made up the arms.

I'm also thinking that Scrapper and Bonecrusher will be the legs with Long Haul as the waist, and Mixmaster + New Dumptruck as the chest and head.

Yeah, shoulder and torso guys are probably one and the same, like so

Why would the guy shown in the trailer not be the head and arms? His arms are already freakishly long and the rest of him serves no purpose at all so....

It's just that there are 6 more vehicles that need to fit somewhere.

Now that I read this: Rumor: More Information on Revenge of the Fallen Devastator Gestalt Toy - Transformers News

I think your sig is on the right track. However, I think the right arm is wrong and needs to be reversed so that the excavator is the upper arm/shoulder and the front-end loader is the lower arm/hand.

I don't know where the green in the torso comes from, as only 1 vehicle has been confirmed to be green, that being the leg. That should be red, according to s250.

Lastly, I think you used the crane on the left arm upside down. I think the treads and cab attach to the torso with the crane arm being the arm, so Dev can swing it like Megatron swung his flail in the first movie.

It does kind of make sense the way they chose the colors now though.

We have:
A white cement mixer as the head and middle of chest
A red excavator as the right pectoral/shoulder
A red articulated dump truck as the left pectoral/shoulder
A yellow front-end loader as the right arm/hand
A yellow truss crane as the left arm/hand
A green dump truck as the right leg
A beige bulldozer as the left leg.

Yeah, I was pretty much going off of memory as far as where they all wound up. Every time I redo D'aaawvastator I feel like I move two steps forward, and one back. I always either mess up a color, or, in the case of the first design, leave out a member altogether.

As for the yellow crane arm, who's to say it doesn't transform to do that anyway?
Jericho:
Dude that first design is sick. I'd buy that.
buickanddeere:
Based on real world equipment The Terrex RH400 Excavator weighing 1080 tons would make up the main torso and limbs.
Everybody else make the head or from the elbow down or from the knees down.
Trucks, dozers, cranes and loaders weigh in from approx 40 to 100ton.

I was just about to post that. Scavenger would be the arms, shoulders and maybe the head. Based on the size of his arms alone I find it hard to believe he would be anything else. That leaves four bots for the legs, two for the torso or one for the torso and one for the head.
