In that first photo, Prime has a trailer. If that was an actual shoot from the movie (and not just them using Prime to haul around equipment) then is the first time we've seen Prime with a trailer in this movie?

Anyone know any details about this?

Also, you can tell from the picture it's not the long nose truck that Prime is nor does it have a cabin in the back.

Yeah, that's not Prime is the NEST semi that was previously reported in the Bethlem shooting.

That's neither Prime nor Ratchet, it's a NEST semi as someone mentioned and a NEST Hummer next to it.

Right, specifically the H3T NEST vehicle.

The R8 has been described as a 'Con for a while.... and i'm thinking that the Vette could be a 'Con as well......nothing to prove that the Vette is though, just my opinion.

Strange that, despite this being a sequence that ArCee is said to be in, we've not seen hide nor hair of her yet....

I dunno, that Prime (with Trailer) is certainly debatable. I can see some color variations on it that look like the mixtures of red and blue from his flames.

Not to mention the one pixel's worth of a potential autobot symbol right on the front.

Just looking at the shape of the semi, it's clearly not Prime, nor is either one of the Humvee's next to him Ratchet. They're NEST vehicles that have been described from previous shoots.

Interesting from the 2nd pict, you see the NEST soldiers (I assume) running past the Ice Cream truck. Perhaps they don't know it's a Transformer, yet? Robots in Disguise indeed!

That is the NEST Semi we saw on the call sheet. It is also all black

So what if the truck with the trailer is "The Fallen?" How cool would that be?

I'm very curious as to how and why the R8 and Vetter are on top of a building like that.

I think it would be nice to see Prime carry a trailer just once. No disappearing crap, but would it hurt to just once have him haul something important in a trailer that strongly resembles the cartoon? Just one small homage to the trailer?

I don't think they care or they have someone in design who really sucks ass.

Trailers are impractical in a live-action shoot, particularly if they want Prime to be driving around at speed with the other Autobots.

For example, there would be no way in hell that Prime could have done that u-turn in the first film or arrive in Mission City with a trailer behind him - the truck would have rolled.

Prime not hauling a trailer has always made sense in the movieverse, but I don't want to live in a world where Bay doesn't see a potential explosion. Hell, he could have Prime pulling a trailer and have a con shred through rolling both it and Prime.

Wrong, the vehicle beside the truck is the H3T NEST vehicle, you can tell by the headlights and truck bed.

The HX is in the other pictures.

I am a bit confused here. See, in the first movie, Volkswagen refused to allow the New Beetle to be used as Bumblebee because the 2007 movie had violence or whatever nonsense excuse they had. So no VW's were used other than an old, beat-up one for a punching bag.

Bear with me here...

VW owns, designs, and builds Audi's. And yet, they allow for the A8 to be used? Why the change of tune? Did they suddenly realize that Transformers is a huge blockbuster and they missed out on it the first time, and now they want in?

Anyhow, the R8 looks sweet, as do ALL the Transformers vehicles that we have seen. Nice find.

I'm guessing you're right and they're looking to get a piece of the tasty Transformers Pie. but i wouldn't be surprised if the car came with specific contractual obligations, like.... it can't be a decepticon, and if it is, then it has to switch sides by the end.

My Money's on the Audi being Wheeljack, his previous alt mode was a European car, and maybe the scientist thing fits in with the anti war VW stance?
