I have to agree with the sentiments that I wish Bay would put half this much effort into having a well-written script and learning how to film a movie with PLOT and CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT.

So if I translated this right....

There is no Bumblebee, no Arcee, no Icecream Truck, no Ironhide, no Optimus, no huge F22 meant to be Starscream, no Nest Vehicles, no concept Corvette, no other concept vehicles for that fact, the explosions are all fake, no helicopters flying over, really no vehicles at all, and they are definatley not making this movie...

i really believe all these little leaked bits of info we see here at tfw2005 are probably close to dead on. i think bay is just making shit up.

Yeah all those new cars and chase scenes were for car company commercials. And those actors who were in the first film?...They just happened to be there passing by.

The leaked script for the first film was completely fake...

Yeah, like all the leaked stuff the first time around wasn't final... and then it turns out to be exactly what we got in the finished movie.

Eye witnesses and photos have corraborated pretty much EVERYTHING that we've seen leaked so far, including the leaked call sheet and tidbits from people involved in the shooting. Sure, we don't know many plot points, but we know things like the vehicles, we know the ice cream truck splits in half, we know Arcee and Soundwave are in it, we know lots of things. And I'm positive that come June 26th 2009, most of the stuff Bay said was false will turn out to be true.

You know how I'm sure this false-info thing is BS? Because if it was true, we would be seeing much more leaks than we actually are. If they went to all the trouble of trying to screw us up with false leaks, why aren't they... you know, leaking stuff?

Doesn't refer to the bots on scene, and uses wrong faces on poles... Must be hell in post production then.

Grow up, we are all adults, we are all going to see the movie anyways, we will read the books and comics, and play the video games before the movie comes out.

The percentage of people reading these things on the internet is miniscule compared to the flock of people actually in the theater.

Why you waste money and time, and risk making stupid bone head mistakes in the movie for the sake of misdirection, baffles me.

I'm fully expecting Bay to appear before a crowd of rabid fans the premier and for it to go a little something like this:

BAY: Hey guys, you all know I jerked you all around during the recording?
CROWD: Yeah! (A few choruses of 'Bastard!' are heard)
BAY: That we leaked all kind of lies to get you all riled up and not know whats going on?
CROWD: Yeah! (A few choruses of 'Get on with it!' this time)
BAY: Well, actually, I just wanted to say...
CROWD: What?
BAY: That actually the whole thing has been one giant lie. We haven't made a film at all! AHAHAHHAHAHAAAAA! SUCK IT!

Bay is being a bit of a Captain Obvious here.

Part of what he's saying there is what we already know - the callsheets and so on have listed placeholder names for new characters, not their real names. Duh.

And its abit obvious that if one hasn't read a treatment (alledgedly fake or not), one doesn't know what is going on from pictures of 'parked cars' and 'actors standing around'.

He's not an idiot, he's just trying to make it so the movie isn't almost completely leaked like last time, though I'm thinking the mis-information is him saying it's all mis-information. The dude meant Bay is a liar.

Though the head-poles thing makes sense. Especially if he's trying to keep the robots a secret.

I still don't understand the hate. He delivers a $700 million defribillator to the Transformers franchise and now we still dog him for wanting to keep the sequel new and fresh. Color me confused here.

Actualy, I'm pretty sure the call sheets are fake, just for the fact that none of 'em got Killbison or Heavy Load, such popular characters!

Totally agree it's all a wasted effort. You could hand me the script, all the pictures from the sets, copies of what the robots will look like after shading and everything else and I'd still end up watching the movie. Heck I didn't even like the first movie and I'm still going to go see the second one so all the leaks in the world aren't going to dent the box office on this thing.

We know we are going to get all the pre-movie stuff to spoil everything so it's just Bay acting childish over his toy he doesn't want to share with the rest of the kids.

If they couldn't keep the spoiler of the aliens being in the last Indie movie then feeding fake stuff to the fans isn't going to keep anything hidden that we can't find out if we really want to.

Ha ha, plus they will likely screw up and release it somewhere other than the US first so we can know everything going in all over again since fandom runs world wide.

I heard that in the real script, Sam says "No no no no no!" when running away from Soundwave. In the fake script he says "No no no!"

The two leaked scripts for the first movie I have on my hard drive are real.

There are lots of minor details in them that are different from the final movie (with some of those differences even officially confirmed as having been in earlier drafts), but the overall structure, the characters appearing, character dynamics, flow of events etc. are definitely the same.

Considering the utter lack of such things the first time around, really it wouldn't take much. Seriously dude... just find someone who isn't a studio exec, who has half a brain, sit down with them with the script for an afternoon, and maybe it won't end up retarded. Maybe.

Said it before, Bay sucks. He lies constantly and doesn't really grasp the franchise past the fact that there are robots and fans who like them. Seriously, what is the reason for hiding stuff? Usually the best use of disinformation is so that the people don't see the shady/bad stuff going on. When you're doing something good, you want people to know about it so they'll be pumped. So his hiding of information (as poor of an attempt as that may be) leads me to believe we have something to worry about (though I didn't like the first movie's designs and I'm sure they'll be used again to some extent, so I'm not talking about just robot designs to be worried about).

I think Michael Bay is jsut trying to keep the audience in suspense, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I do hope they put as much effort into writing the script as they did covering it up, though.
