In an article on MTV Movies Blog, Transformers actress Megan Fox talks about various aspects of Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen and the ongoing filming of the movie. In the article, Megan confirms that the script is undergoing some rewrites, as the script had to be rushed due to the now-resolved writer’s strike. Megan also confirms that the sequel will continue to explore the growing relationship between Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) and her character, Mikaela Banes (“Shia and I make out a little bit”, per Megan). Megan further teases the readers by offering this insight into the movie:
As big as the first movie was, this is 10 times as big, 10 times as many set pieces, explosions, and acrobatic stunts.

airfox went to see Megan Fox's imdb profile looking for hot softcore porn pics.
airfox came back to this thread depressed because there weren't any.
airfox is tired of writing in the third person.
I think the more "risque" stuff she has done so far are some pics for Maxim and FHM. I don't consider those pics "softcore" … there's not even nudity there! And there's that "topless" scene she filmed for an upcoming movie which wasn't really a topless IMO.

On topic: I'm not worried about the rewrites as that's something common in movies. Lines like Han Solo's "I know" in ESB and Indiana Jones' fight with the Cairo Swordsman in Raiders were in a sense rewrites.
I am worried about Bay's "just look hot" to Megan. I always thought that Bay, as an action director, was a good choice for the introductory Transformers movie, but a bad choice for a sequel. This cements that.

I remember glancing over some article on TFormers where she talks about the former, and yes, she at least has softcore porn pics on the Internet, they're (inappropriately) on her IMDB profile.
So, yeah, don't have a high opinion about her, to say the least.
Laser_Optimus
Ah, sorry, it seemed like it was directed at me the way it was posted. My misunderstanding.
BTW, I'm 100% in agreement with what you've said.
MagnusPrimal
Which of these apply? Not having read the interview, does she admit to being promiscuous, or having compromised her principles? Cause I've got to say, I don't see where simply having pictures on the Internet makes her either.
Assuming, or course, that the pictures aren't pornographic.
Good grief, I don't spend this much time posting about actresses I actually like.
MagnusPrimal
Actually, LO, that wasn't directed at you personally, I was just using your post to ask the question, if that makes any sense. I'm sorry if it seemed it was directed at you, and I did not intend to put those words in your mouth.
I know that people have the right to their opinions, but I'm not going to agree that calling a young lady that you (not directed at you, LO) think can't act a "whore" or a "ho(e)" is ok. It's juvenile, and doesn't really reflect well on the person doing the name-calling. If you consider her a bad actress, post that.
Brandon
It's the movie forum. I'm honestly not surprised.
Laser_Optimus
Sage advice.

I don't know I rather enjoy all the pre-movie speculation. Some people have some pretty good ideas about what might happen that adds an extra little bit of fun to see what we manage to guess right and what we've guessed wrong. Even the foaming at the mouth hate and love crowd manages to keep things interesting because it can be funny to read how it's going to be the worst movie ever made and end the torment of Bay movies forever or how it's going to be so great we will all rush home and burn all our old Transformers stuff for not living up the greatness of the movie.
Or maybe I'm just not serious enough of a person to get all caught up in how important the movie is. Just seems like one more stop in the long trip that has been Transformers so far.
Just seems like a bit of fun to watch all this movie related drama so maybe I need to redefine what I find fun.

Save your time, Velcrohead; they won't listen. They never do.
Personally, I have less than no interest in sitting through the same old merry-go-round we all had to endure in 2007, so I don't intend to bother posting in many movie related threads. I'll reserve my judgement until I actually go see the movie and probably decide what I think then. Nothing said on here will change that. I still enjoy watching the first movie. That hasn't changed either.
The haters can seize on every single little tidbit as much as they like; the opinions of anyone else whatsoever have no impact on my own opinion, and as such this time round I intend to totally ignore them all.
Velcrohead
Hey, I've got something to settle the whole argument.
(1.) If you don't think you're going to like the movie, stay home and don't see it.
(2.) Since you're inevitably going to ignore #1 and go see it anyway, don't complain too much, because your dollars and your butt in the seat was a vote IN FAVOR of what you saw on the screen.
(3.) If you like the movie, rock on, because 2009 is going to be a stellar Transformers year for you.
(4.) Remember, opinions are like assholes, everyone has one, and most of them stink.
eyeballkid
My question is, why is she talking? She was not hired to talk.
Beastbot X
I called her a whore because that's what she is, if not literally than figuratively. It has nothing to do with her acting ability (or lack thereof). I have a big problem with anyone who puts pictures of themselves like that on the Internet and whose sole purpose in acting is to be "teh hot girl". So, not definition 1 of the word, but the other 2:
whore (hôr, hōr)
n.
A prostitute.
A person considered sexually promiscuous.
A person considered as having compromised principles for personal gain.
It definitely comes across as a backhanded insult to those who enjoyed the movie– I really think you're on the wrong track that Bay aims for the lowest common denominator– but whatever, if I was reading it wrong than I was reading it wrong. It's cool, then.
AutobotMarine
But this movie is about the TRANSFORMERS! Not about the stupid humans!
Simian
I don't know what to say………I agree with everyone on this thread…The first movie could have been better……The second film will probably be just like the first…….I am glad that there was finally a live action TF film….Fox is cute but the whole "Just look hot" thing is a little bit disheartening. I could care less about the damn humans. Bay is an action movie guy not a character story type guy…
I just pray……That maybe just a little more…just a little….character development for the bots will occur…..
Oh….and the whole Megan is a 'hoe' is funny…………but she has my name tattoo'd on her belly….cuz I'm cool like that…………………but she really isn't anything to write home about for real…….
Laser_Optimus
I said no such thing and you know it. Please don't put words in my mouth. A question was asked about the dislike for this particular actress and I simply gave my two cents on that, but not once did I myself call her a whore or a hoe as I'm sure that while she is a bad actress she's not a street walker.
Further more, on the subject of people referring to Miss Fox as such I do find it to be a bit on the juvenile side. But, you know what, people have the right to voice their opinions whether I like them or not as long as they don't violate this boards rules.
On another note (and this isn't directed at you MagnusPrimal), some of you kids need to figure out that people have differing opinions. Don't like someones opinion? That's fine. Either discuss it rationally or get over it and move on. The flaming and deliberate flame baiting within these movie threads makes me sick all the way around from both sides of the argument.
omegagoalie
Allow me to summarize. The first movie was great. TF2 will be even better. The end.
Incepticon
Oh give me a break, Beastbot. Pointing out Bay's main target audience as a director (and the part you're obviously bent out of shape about here) is NOT the same thing as saying everyone who happens to like the movie falls into that specific category. If that's what I wanted to say, then I would have. I've seen the movie dozens of times, own two versions of it on DVD, thoroughly do enjoy parts of it and have NEVER said it completely sucked. I just think it could have been done much better and am disappointed that this is the franchise that had to get the Bay treatment. But the last thing I've done is pull elitism or snobbery. If that's how it appeared, then I apologize as it was not my intent.
I expect some people to disagree with my opinion, but come on, don't take it so personally. If words on a screen could ever properly convey the intended inflection & tone that discussing it in person would do, trust me, you wouldn't feel insulted at all. Don't let a lot of words translate to mean ranting blind range.
Aye, and people that pop out of nowhere while attempting to put words in the mouths of anyone who disagrees with their opinion is exactly the ignorant bullshit I'm sick to death of.
Kids.
Thundercrackah
Agreed. That post is exactly the type of petty, childish attitude I'm sick to death of from people who dislike these TF movies.
I have no problem with people disliking anything, it means nothing to me and I don't care but when they wheel out these little egotistical posts, tantrums and start putting down people who do like these things that just disgusts me.
I had the guy on ignore before but you quoted his drivel, now I see I was utterly correct in doing so.
Ed Bailey
Honestly, the first two X-men movies were merely okay. I honestly didn't like Blade, and I know I'm not alone on that. Spiderman… well, if it hadn't been Tobey and Dunce (yeah, I know how ya spell it) it would have been better. Although, I still feel those scripts were lacking — especially the 2nd. Overall, Spidey 1 & 2 did a reasonable job presenting a Spiderman-centric universe, but really seemed, well, boring.
Hulk was not my favorite of the two new films. However, let's make a few quick comparisons with TF1:
1) Marvel got much better actors, Roth and Norton specifically. None of the TF1 cast stands out, although, Shia did a decent job with Sam. Still, the kid is over-rated and filmmakers are pushing his career in the spotlight, rather than his characters or the story. See TF1 and Indy 4.
2) Hulk had plenty of action that folks could keep track of. MB likes blurry, bumpy shots. I get it. But what good are super-detailed CG models when all you see is a streak across the screen?
3) Hulk was the star of Hulk's movie. Blonsky (sp?) and Banner's human stories were great, kept us entertained and reduced the cost compared to an all-Hulk movie. But ultimately, Hulk was the star.
I'm tired, and I'm rambling — and I'm sick of the "be thankful for what we have arguments." Tell that to all the Marvel fans regarding the original Cap and Punisher movies. Just cause someone makes a movie out of source material you're vested in, doesn't mean you have to turn a blind-eye to its flaws. This is a discussion board to discuss, well, the TF movies. That includes the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Beastbot X
Could you possibly lay on the elitism and snobbery any thicker? Geez, not only is it okay for you to dislike the movie, you have insult everyone that DOES like it now…
