Glenn Morshower to Return for Transformers 3

Yes because he died in the first film (everyone except Lennox's crew died at that base).

D'oh! I always figured that he just happened to survive the attack, and since the military was trying to keep the Transformers a secret, they put him in charge of NEST since he already knew about them.

It would be cool if he dies at the hand of a Decepticon this time.

Um...last I checked...he died at the hands of Blackout...because Blackout destroyed the whole base. Making him die a the hand of a Decepticon.

Glenn Morshower is a real military officer. He played Colonel Sharp in the 07 movie and was killed in the SOCCENT attack. For some reason, Bay had him come back but play as "himself" as a General and a leader figure of NEST.

It really wouldn't surprise me if Morshower comes back to reprise his role from ROTF.

Just checked imdb, he was in Pearl Harbor and The Island. I'd say he's a lock for TF3.

Oh, and by the by: though he's called "Colonel Sharp" in TF1, the credits list him as "SOCCENT Sergeant," so there's one discrepancy already. And in ROTF, the (unreliable) credits list him as "General Morshower" but he's only ever called "General" in dialogue. I still like him as the same guy. It would be far from the worst plothole in this franchise.

Huh, didn't realize Morshower was in a number of Bay films.

He played the helicopter pilot who was coming to pick up Stockweathers(Michael Clark Duncan) liver.

Yeah, that would be the logical thing to do, but this is a Bay movie, the logical doesn't happen.

I hope he's back with a 3rd role in 3 movies. That'd be hilarious.

I hate when the same actor is used to portray different characters within a single piece of fiction. Really kills the immersion factor.

Worst instance I can think of is that guy who played 'Jack Wade' in a couple of the Pierce Brosnan Bond movies, having already been a villain in a previous Bond film.

i want to see major lenoxs say, "hey general, you sure look like this guy i once knew." "you sure your not a transformer or something?"

The credits in the movies occasionally use the non-final names from the script. Demolishor is referred to as "Wheelbot", for example.

Morshower's character in Revenge of the Fallen was named after him because they thought his name was cool. As I recall, the name stayed the same throughout the various adaptations of ROTF that his character appeared in (even when his service branch changed), so his name is Morshower, and he's a different character to Sharp.

And they do refer to him by name in ROTF, although not to his face - Lennox says "We take our orders directly from Chairman Morshower, sir" to Galloway.

I find this to be very good news. and I would love it if he played yet another character but it would make more sense if he stayed as the gen from rotf. I just dig him in everything he does and loves his talents on the big screen.

That guy was also in an episode of Lie To Me. He played the same character. Not sure if it was the same name but he was an officer.

He should be included in a future HA set.

awesome! glenn morshower is an awesome actor. i love the sound of his voice. hes got that "take no shit" kind of tone. really glad to have him back!

wow shows how deep the film is if the same actor can play two different characters and no-one noticed.

Sometimes I can take too much for granted, as I kinda expected him to return. That being said, I'm really glad to see him back. I've really enjoyed his performances and his character(s).

I always thought his line telling Blackout they would kill him was really cool and delivered well.
