I'm Glad he's Back!!!
Huff Post: Well, looking at how "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" did at the box office, it's obvious that people like these movies. So I can see your hesitation to give it up. Michael Bay: Well, no, you've got to do different things in life. But it doesn't matter. This is probably the last one.
Meh. I'll probably see them but my interest in the live action movies is at an all time low. I haven't even watched ROTF or DOTM since opening night and I have the dvd for ROTF, never bothered with DOTM. I'm tired of Transformer movies where the bots are glorified set pieces. It's good for those who are excited for it and I sincerely hope you enjoy it.
How anyone could be excited for these movies after what Bay has done to them I can't understand.
This latest development sheds a light on the statement made by Michael Bay himself, where he said Transformers 4 is "probably" the last Transformers movie he directs.
Bullshit fans? Awesome? If I weren't so lazy I'd write a scathing three paragraph retort regarding the quality (or lack of) of Michael Bay's supposed movies. But, since I am lazy, I'll leave it at this: Go back under your rock and let the adults talk.
Come on guys, hold hands...LOL. Let's face it, Bay is doing the 5th too, and he'll have some lame excuse with it, like that he was gracious enough to come back 'one last time' 'for the fans'. It'll be like Cher's 'farewell' tours for every movie after 4, at least as long as the interest is there to churn out more. XD And as one of the few good Baybot molds, if we have more waves of Prime and Bumblebee, can we have another Leader Prime? With a trailer? Pweeeease? ![]()
