Full voice cast: Optimus Prime - Peter Cullen Bumblebee - Does not speak in the film Ratchet - Robert Foxworth Ironhide - Jess Harnell Sideswipe - Andre Sogliuzzo Arcee - Grey DeLisle Jetfire - Mark Ryan Mudflap - Reno Wilson Skids - Tom Kenny Wheelie - Tom Kenny Jolt - Does not speak in the film Megatron - Hugo Weaving Starscream - Charles Adler Soundwave - Frank Welker (but lacking the vocodered voice) The Fallen - Tony Todd Scalpel "The Doctor" - John DiCrosta Demolishor also speaks, although the various other Constructicons do not. Devastator reportedly just grunts and roars, so there is no confirmation if Frank Welker is providing his voice. Additionally Kevin Michael Richardson provides the voice of an ancient Transformer seen in one sequence.

So hey! Everyone knows the movie came out in the UK today, right? Well, I'm just back, and given the dearth of real info and the wealth of MISinformation on the voiice cast, I made a POINT of reading as many of the voice credits as I could. Now, listen up!
Returning from the first film, we've got:
Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime
Jess Harnell as Ironhide
Robert Foxworth as Ratchet
Hugo Weaving as Megatron
Charlie Adler as Starscream
Our new characters include:
Tony Todd as The Fallen
Andre Sogliuzzo as Sideswipe
Grey DeLisle as Arcee
Mark Ryan as Jetfire. Ryan provided Bumblebee's voice in the first movie, but 'Bee doesn't speak in this movie.
Tom Kenny as Skids and Wheelie.
Reno Wilson as Mudflap. Wilson voiced Frenzy in the first movie.
John DiCrosta as The Doctor
Calvin Wimmer as Demolishor, who is credited under his production name of "Wheelbot"
Kevin Michael Richardson as Rampage, who is credited under his production name of "Skipjack"
Frank Welker as Soundwave, Devastator, and "Reedman". The Nintendo DS video game confirms that this mysterious "Reedman" is the razor-thin robot formed of the marble-sized robots disgorded by Ravage.
Kevin Michael Richardson, Michael York and Robin Atkin Downes provide the voices of the Primes who speak to Sam in his vision (York as #1, Richardson as #2 and Downes as #3). This has been confirmed in several places - but I'm at a loss to define three distinct voices in the scene. Almost EVERYTHING that is said in the vision is said by Richardson - the only line that is not his is "We have been watching you... for a long, long time." Logically, then, this would be #1, York. And if Richardson is #2... where is Downes?
TRANS+CRAZY:
No Susan Blu voicing Arcee? Thundercrackah:
Good to get some solid info on these, thanks dude.
Eric:
Kevin Michael Richardson FTW. Nevermore:
Your word versus IMDB, I know which one Wikipedia will put their trust in.
Beastbot X:
Thanks for the info!

optimusprime42:
this thread = fail why susan blu has been inked as arcee.. who the hell is tony todd
optimusprime42:
ok then frank is voicing devastator along with soundwave
Sideswipe1954:
Is Tony Todd indeed the Fallen, and were you able to tell if Stan Bush's Remix of the Touch was actually in the movie as Shia claimed on an MTV interview
NIDARAM12:
what if Susan Blue uses like ten alternate names like other voice actors?
Sso02V:
I'm pretty sure Grey Delisle isn't a pseudonym for Susan Blu.

I believe it to be correct. I didn't hear the Touch anywhere, but then, I didn't hear most of the songs that the credits claimed were in it! Quote:

I didn't even expect the Doctor to talk at all.

thnx for info

Oh, and does CANDYMAN ring any bells?
Angelwave:
Thanks for this. It was driving me crazy not knowing who the cast of voices were.
General Tekno:
Does The Doctor sound anything like Herr Doktor from ReBoot perchance? Is the voice similar aside from the German accent?
Chris McFeely: Quote:
Originally Posted by General Tekno Does The Doctor sound anything like Herr Doktor from ReBoot perchance? Is the voice similar aside from the German accent? | Little bit, yeah. It's that pretty generic "Doctor Frankenstein"/"Throw the switch!" sort of voice. He doesn't say an awful lot, but I liked him a lot.
(Note: At no point did the Doctor say "Throw the switch!". Sadly.)
jadtdt:
Susan Blu is a sweet lady and all, but I'm all for someone new voicing Arcee.
...And that someone new being Grey DeLisle makes me very happy. In my pants.

Good work, McFeely; I know I said I was going to look out for the voices too, but in the end I got so excited about Grey DeLisle that I ended up missing most of them.
Then again, all the ones I did remember you already got...and yeah, non-vocoded Welker was just stunningly boneheaded. I suspect it wasn't even a creative decision; I honestly believe they just forgot to do it, like with the Brawl/Devastator business last time. Which is just aaargh. Chris McFeely: Quote:

arcee3:
Wait, so Tom Kenny isn't voicing both twins? So they sound different? Hmm.
Also, didn't the voice actor for Sideswipe play the Clone Troopers in the cartoon? At least we have Kevin Michael Richardson who = win.

Sideswipe is NOT Jason Giffith. He's Andre Sogliuzzo.
Arcee is NOT Susan Blu. She's Grey DeLisle.
Jetfire is NOT John Turturro. He's Mark Ryan, who provided Bumblebee's voice in the first movie, but 'Bee doesn't speak in this movie.
Tom Kenny is indeed Skids and Wheelie.
Mudflap is Reno Wilson, who voiced Frenzy in the first movie.
The Doctor is John DiCrosta.
And I didn't catch the actual credit for the name of the characterr, but I recognized the unmistakeable Kevin Michael Richardson as one of the original 13 in a flashback.
That's all I was able to read, but I believe that's it. Other characters are all the same voices as the last movie, no Constructicon speech, Jolt didn't talk. Wasn't able to catch if Welker was credited for Devastator, which has being going around, but if he did, he just roared and growled. Oh, and he did voice Soundwave, but (more spoilers to be safe) I was left gape-mouthed in disbelief that they didn't frickin' vocode it. He's just Doctor Claw!
EDIT: Oh, I just remembered - the only other character to speak was Demolishor, but I wasn't able to catch his actor. | None of the Constructicons speak?
NO MIKE PATTON!?
Confirmation would be much appreciated.

Confirmation would be much appreciated. | Nope, no Constructicons speak any actual dialogue that I could discern. But, as I said, I wasn't able to read every single credit, so it's entirely possible that they did credit actors (Patton or otherwise) for the roaring and growling the Constructicons did, as they did with Jimmie Wood and Bonecrusher in the first movie.
Stune:
awwwh. I was hoping Mixmaster or Rampage would have a few words. Looks like I'm getting the Legends Devastator instead of Voyager/Deluxe constructicons.

He was the only Constructicon to be named, he captured Sam's parents and he got a longish fight scene with Bumblebee.

If you remember I am Legend, he voiced all those monster things, and man did they sound beastly. And I'm even hoping he does Devy too, cause those roars/growls are jizz in pants worthy.

I think Michael Sinternikklas could have been a great Sideswipe. Aw well, I'll probably change my mind when I hear him on-screen.
ORIO:
Thanks for the info Chris.
No Patton makes me a sad panda though BenPrince: Is NOT Susan Blu but she did play Padamame or Panda Bear or whatever the hell her name was in the first Clone Wars Cartoon.
Shadow25:
Actually, I think Grey Delise is a perfect, aboslutely perfect fit for Arcee. Sue Blu, while good, sounded a bit grandma-like in Animated. If only Arcee had more lines, I mean what a great casting choice. The voices seem fine for the most part, just don't know what Sideswipe will sound like.
optimusprime42:
i'll find out myself
Starscream NZ:
Here I was hoping that Mixmaster was going to have an amazingly awesome voice, since Patton is the god of voice....dammit!
Would've liked to have dialogue between the Constructicons....even if it was just in Cybertronian (with subtitles on screen like first film)
PoweredConvoy:
Grey DeLisle gets mad props from me as she was the BEST as Azula in Avatar.
Randy
Crumplezone:
Jolt dosen't talk......Frowny face....
Admiral Lilwall:
hardly a surprise so many decepticons don't get proper speaking roles let alone a single word. are the decepticons meaningless "i'm just haning here" appaearances this time around like they were in the first flick? bit of a surprise that jolt doesn't say anything though, being an autobot n all
optimusprime42:
chris.. i talked to my source he said your half right and wrong on the casts
Chris McFeely:
Well, that sure is nice, but I read the credits, and I'm only reporting what I read there. You'll notice that several UKers have confirmed parts of what I've said so far, too. If you want to address any specific points, go ahead, or even if you want to identify this phantom expert...
Grindor:
How many lines does Arcee get and what does she say?
Chris McFeely:
Two, to the best of my recollection. Something along the lines of "We're locked and loaded!" as they ready to deploy during the Shanghai fight at the start of the film, and "Follow us and we'll take you to Optimus" during the final battle. StarSaber79:
NOOOOOOO SIDESWIPE IS NOT SONIC! That makes me sad!
SPLIT LIP:
That's a great voice cast. I'm even more excited to see what teh movie will be like now.
You know, in regular movies, there's often TONS of people around who don't speak. Nameless henchmen and so-forth. Why is everyone bummed the CCs don't speak? Not every single person can get a speaking role in a two-hour movie.
If this was a show or something I'd probably wonder, too. But in a movie there's always stuff to consider.
Grindor:
Does Arcee survive? or die first time she's in it like Jazz
