I cant tell the difference from this render of Optimus from the previous 2 movies.
Sentinel made my head explode.

Those aren't renders but cut from an image of the film, the image shows Optimus and Sentinel in a city and both appear quite damaged.

Right below Optimus' chest windows is different.

OK, Sentinel Prime has the look of MURDER in his eyes! Someone is about to get f*cked up!

I'm skimming through the story at the mo, but so far it's just about his dogs and him editing the movie.

Does and Don'ts for TF3:
1. No sand
2. No "dorky" humor ("we wanted to make the movie much more serious, more adult)
3. When robots die, they're really going to die and we're gonna show that
4. We're not bringing people back
5. Give the robots more 'weight' in the story ("They were missed in movie two. We've given them a strong back-story and pathos")

The Ferrari is a 'Con who bay is dubbing as 'Dreadbox'

New companions for Starscream, Shockwave and the rest

No army for this, Chicago is left up to the 'Bots but some heroes sneak in through the back-door so to speak

The human gliders are used because they slip under the 'Con radar - as do humans - so they'll be the people who can hammer it to the 'Cons and create an opening for the 'Bots

Hmmm. So not quite "father" but a father-figure perhaps? Can't wait to see this relationship explored. Sentinel deffinitely seems like a major player.

Companions is all it says, it seems like there's a lot of secrets surrounding the 'Cons and who'll be on their side, from what it sounds like with the 'scale' of one of them, we're getting a new combiner... Either that or the ships we saw transform... I'm hoping combiner. From the sounds of it he'll be bigger than Devastator and in a place such as a city he'll look absolutely amazing.

Also "Dreadbox" won't have a cheesy Italian accent as Ferrari have to approve it.

Here's a messed up (unlikely) thought-

we know the ferrari spends quite a bit of time with the autobots- which could mean he's a spy, he changes sides, or bay is trying to fool us.

We also know there's a HA toy of Soundwave coming- and up to this point nothing HA has been bigger than a car. Is it possible this is actually soundwave?

Hmmm...sounds more and more like the rumor that Dylan being allied with the cons/a pretender is true. I'd be fine with the latter but I expect the former to be honest.

The large one could be Unicron. I mean, it doesn't get much bigger, does it? And that's been rumored for a while. Perhaps it will just be a different take on it, rather than planet eating evil robot god.

It's possible, it's what Bay is calling him but the article makes it seem like that isn't his name so what you've said actually sounds very, very likely

Remember that one Dark of the Moon book called "Autobots Betrayed!" (source: Transformers 3 Title Revealed? - Transformers News - TFW2005). I think it's quite possible that the Ferrari "Dreadbox" is who they're referring to. He was with the Autobots during filming, so he could betray them since he's a secret Decepticon or something.

And actually... come to think of it... did the Ferrari seen during filming have an Autobot logo? I don't think it did, but correct me if I'm wrong.

whoa! Cool picture and cool info. So the ferarri is a decepticon? Is he a defector like jetfire and wheelie? because every shot we've seen from filming shows him with the other autobots. And i doubt he's a spy because why would bay reveal that?

Bay didn't, we've seen no official images of the Ferrari and any shot of him was on-set. Bay merely said he was a 'Con named Dreadbox which means either way he's a spy to the 'Cons or 'Bots.

So he says he's a 'Con means:

A) A Decepticon will pretend to be a 'Bot and this will be revealed at the beginning of the film so we know and the 'Bots don't

B) He's an Autobot and we don't find out till the end or middle of the film

This is all going by what we've seen on-set.

Oh, and another thing... the red head we saw during filming had red eyes and some people thought it was for a Decepticon. I can't believe all these pieces were there the whole time, and we just didn't piece it together... red eyes, no Autobot logo, etc.

Ferrari a Decepticon eh? Didn't see that coming. Hopefully it's not a huge spoiler (who am I kidding, I'd be all over it anyway).

As far as I can tell from currently-released images/video and the new toys, main difference with Prime (besides the Mechtech gun) is that his torso is redesigned a bit. He sort of has 'abs' where the flat red section of his hood's firewalls were. You can see this most easily on his Ultimate toy. Bumblebee has a similarly redesigned torso.

There's probably changed details on both that we don't know about yet.

Personally I hated the gun arms the chicken legs and alot of the really over the top robotic things they added to this line but I do love the change to a single handheld gun for ops.

I think I just like anything that makes them seem less robotic and more human its cooler to identify with them.

Sentinel looks great- a lot like Prime, actually. Same stature, same helmet design, and heroic posture. Looking forward to seeing both of these guys on screen.

Yeah, I'm starting to notice some minor tweaks to Optimus' design there. The chest/abs and even his arms (the elbow-like bits) are extended. Oh, and that giant gun.

Awesome images. I'm so stoked. Sentinel Prime looks amazing. And I really do hope that they're right about the Transformers (more weight, etc.).

Now he's in some serious business. I mean look at that effin' rifle. It's not a gun (nor two) anymore, that's awesome!

Oh, and they show how they die? I mean, how they really die in a battle? I hoped for this since the end of TFTM, really. Eventhough they're gigantic alien robots they need to die like we know it and not in a heroic way. That didn't suit them.

And Sentinel...meh. I'm also dissappointed by the toy, eventhough the Panther looks amazing.
So, just my opinion on that.
