I think he is sour because he knows the movie is garbage. It has nothing to do with people's complaints. Its Garbage. The same people he calls haters are the ones who LOVE Transformers. IT is their FANBASE. Its sad how cash can distance someone from REALITY.... and a treadmill. 3 billion dollars is only meaningful to him, Not the audience. Shows his actual connection to the joes in the street...none. His attitude pretty much shows they dont approach any of the mistakes in order to make a better film. If your producers are like this why would the director be any different? All the more reason to get a different team behind this franchise.

I think it would be amazing if they turn this series into a six movie series. What would they do without Shia though?

There is a nucleus of something special waiting to burst out. A 2nd trilogy under a new direction would be welcome. Having the Villains die all the time really cheapens the heroes plight. Hopefully someone takes note of this.

I don't know what Joes your asking, but every one of my friends that has seen it has loved it and I'm going again with another batch this week and they already like the first two.

^Seriously now: Everyone is loving the movie around here. I even watched the movie alongside my non-TF-fan friend and he loved the thing [principally Sentinel Prime].

Thats great, but the people i have spoken too and polled for my job, fans and nonfans, dont really speak that highly. There are those who are like yeah its BA, but more that dont think that. Now fans generally have particular things they didnt like, non fans opinions range from "it didnt make sense to me" to "i couldnt tell who was doing what to who". It really runs the gamut. The people that i know in the film industry, Grips, PA's, Camera Operators, other directors, dont like it for all technical reasons, and its not just envy so they trash it. Dont get me wrong, for me the film was FUN to watch, but its not a good movie. There is a difference. And its not that "i didnt get what i wanted", its just a poorly done movie.

He was my fav Con as a child. And i love ILM's work. Because i like their art and not the movie doesnt make me a hypocrite. I have posted about things i liked about the movie and things i dislike. The dislike just outweighs the like in this particular film. I am a fan.

I think by doing a new trilogy to pick up after this one is a very good way to go. This way you can keep the designs of most of the TFs we have gotten used to but start a whole new story that is fresh with new human characters as well as a lot of new TFs but more-so a better overall continues none plot hole filled trilogy. I really think they need to get all 3 movie's scripts written first so they make sure to avoid having the major plot holes and avoid having main plot points just fade away or expect us to forget they ever happened like we got with the past 3 movies.

All I wanted was a movie about the robots. Not about someone looking for poon/education/career. I don't care about some dude's girlfriend. I don't care about some dude's parents. I don't care how high pitched some dude can scream. I only care about the robots.

He starts accounts on message boards to curse out fans who didn't like certain aspects of the leaked script or robot designs.
He actually went to war against 1 particular message board owner.

I think him, Nelson and Orci are all fruit that fell from the same tree. I sincerely hope for a reboot now, simply in hope that a more civilized production team gets involved and that hopefully a more civil tone will trickle down into the fanbase.

But a second trilogy without Bay directing would be interesting. Could be worse, or could be MUCH better. With Bay it's always been about big dumb summer movie with poor characters and poor plot/story telling (the things that are usually central to good movies).

There are things I LOVE about the Bay movies (some of which I'll even credit Bay with), but the movies certainly could be done better. If they do a second trilogy without Bay at the wheel it could be a good thing.
