- Seven construction vehicles merge to form Devastator
- Devastator has lots of upper body strength, like a gorilla
- Not just green, some of the vehicles are red and yellow
- The previously seen Long Haul concept art (image to left) by Josh Nizzi is legit

SEVEN robots?
Hasbro's got their work cut out....
Takara_destron:
If they all look like that Long Haul, this is going to be one awesome Devastator.
chuckcjc:
Very interesting ! I loved that Long Haul design. Can't wait to see the rest !!
~Insert Name~:
I can't wait to see this one on the big screen. Especially if they all look like this Longhaul. Very excited about this one.
Paradigm-Shift Prime:
Cool, I look forward to a movie combiner toy, I wish it was any other one other than Devi (ahem, Bruticus, ahem) but I'll take him.
IronCrow:
Long Haul looks awesome, can't wait to see the rest!

I can just picture Aaron beating his head on his desk over and over...
Tim Formas:
You almost have to wonder now what the Autobots will have to combat Devastator. Seven full-sized construction vehicles are going to form a robot that is much larger than any of the other characters. Gigantic Autobot foe or introduction of some sort of higher Autobot power (Matrix, etc)? A crotch shot of rounds isn't going to take him down like it did with Blackout.
Trailbreaker77:
Great news looking forward to seeing the rest of the designs.
Rquiem:
I was soo close to quitting collecting.......
The vette and devastator just pulled me back in....
Bye bye wallet.
I think, looking back on all leaked footage, this is going to blow part 1 away! unless bay laughs at us at the end of part 2 not showing devastator at all. In the credits hell say something like, Got ya!
Devy should be the first anyway... just because!
Maximus_Prime:
if this is legit then it is pretty sweet.
I think they don't have to worry about people being confused with the first "Devastator" fiasco I look at it like this. You actually don't see his wreckage being dropped in the ocean and it is possible he would be regenerated and made more powerful.
I just hope the combiner affect on screen doesn't look cheesy and it still retains the realism that the first movie had.
cheetorBWORG:
Does anybody realize how BIG Long Haul is!? Jeez, if that's 7 in 1, it's going to be one effing HUGE mofo!
Wait... then does that mean the Arcee motorbike theory could be true too? 3 bikes in one?
neospark1:
Wow. Just .... wow! Devastator is going to be BIG! "Prepare for extermination!"
godsenddeath:
This sounds like such potentially good news..... that i dare not get my hopes up.
Lumpy:
WTF...so, that's 7 of the 10 Cons...i kinda dont know how i feel about this...it could be cool, just gotta wait and see...
Eric:
Devastator in the movie!? SEVEN Constructicons!?
One word can sum this up: BIG.
KING KONVOY:
simply crazy! its definitely going to be a good look. For a minute I thought Brawl was returning.
General Tekno:
SEVEN robots?
Oh, Primus yes...
And that art is legit? Again, VERY sweet. I along with many others loved that concept art. If the Constructicons are all like this and do indeed combine... oh man, Hasbro just got the keycode to my bank account.
I hope that they package this combiner as a Supreme-class figure - that way they can include all the different figures in one giftset. But package them in combined mode if at all possible - I don't think that's been done before, and could add to the appeal of people buying it.
Lord Chumley:
This is great so whos in
decepticons, 7 constructicons, soundwave, the audi, scorponok, barracade, starscream, also ravage and laserbeak [mentioned in an interview hinted soundwaves minions, the blackbird whos was code jetfire but looking as to the others had code names i think might be soundwave. From philly film girl mentioning sam being strangled at college by megatron and a rumer that he is 99% not in the film i think sam is seeing things like he is with allspark symbols, also i think the frenzy on the hood might be in his head.
Autobots prime ironhide, ratchet, the arcee bikes? bumbles, the trax and volt, rumer 1 jazz, the silver 1 code name stinger id say blurr, the rc monster truck code name wheels who id say is roller as wheelie is hated and too obvious. Then the fallen, also a possibly for a submarine character and underwarter battles, a posibilaty by bob orci i think, im ust so happy the 10a side thing was thrown away months ago, i hope hey get grimlock in to even if hes not a dino.
GMANIFESS:
I remember in G1 seeing toon Devastator & being so excited about how big the toy should be. Then seeing how tiny & out of scale the toy was.
Hopefully Hasbro won't disappoint.
However, I can't see the individual Constructions being any bigger then deluxe size. So I can't be too excited. Meaning Devastator will probably be barely a leader size when fully assembled.
Hasbro did so well with scale for the last film toys, this one is just too much of a challenge for price points.
But a supreme scale fully assembled Devastator would be true justice.
Ren:
That is going to be crazy.
If the drawing of Long Haul is legit how big do you think Devastator is going to be? 80 feet tall? He will make Prime look like a child!

We haven't had a combiner with multiple deluxe complexity/size since Beast Wars, have we?

Which is sweet.
optimusdestruction:
I'm going to go ahead and chalk this up as false info. If you go back and look at all the "confirmed" info from early production in the first movie you will see a ton of it wasn't even close to the truth or accurate. I hope and pray that it's true but I really don't think it's going to happen. Who confirmed this? Bay? Orci? Spielberg? nope! I think someone is having some fun with the real TF fans out there and getting our hopes up. Sorry to be such a downer but it just doesn't add up.

DUDE...SPOILER TAGS...some of us are trying to avoid big PLOT details...

Myself I would assume that would be fair game in this thread.
OmarJT82:
Seven Constructicons?
But there are only 6 of them minus Bonecrusher:
1) Scrapper
2) Hook
3) Long Haul
4) Mixmaster
5) Scavenger
Any thoughts about what the names of the other two Constructicons will be?
X-Brawn:
I thought Devastator was in the first movie...
He was a tank or something wasn't he? (just kidding, I know it was Brawl)
Could this mean the return of Bonecrusher in a new form?
Also, I'd love it if they were all like Scrapper and Mixmaster from Animated...

This is going to be one BIG F'ING ROBOT | Reiterated.
And furthermore... please, please PLEASE don't screw this over with store exclusives being part of the equation. I can't see Hasbro doing this, but still...
And finally PLEASE don't do green/purple repaints of the non green/purple limbs down the road...
Spartan Prime:
Where was this confirmed? I'm probably missing it, but all this says isthat it's confirmed, but I see no source.
optimusdestruction:
HELLO? that picture is not legit. Can anyone point out 7 robots? No, it's a giant freakin dump truck! Dual wheels on the shoulders, etc etc. Blackout was nearly that big and he was a helicopter. Seven robots formed together would dwarf that thing. This is all B.S. I'm just sayin.
unicronsupreme:
I personally hope they package them all separately that way they could all be deluxes and you wouldn't have to drop $70 all at once. Also congratz Bay, this will be :

Myself I would assume that would be fair game in this thread. | this thread is about a confirmation of a character showing up, that i'm fine with. i'm gonna know who's in the movie based off toys also, not worried about that...however, PLOT details, i am trying to avoid like the plague...i knew jazz died in the first one, and it nearly killed that part of the movie for me...however, i think i am just gonna leave this thread...just to make sure i dont ruin much else for TF2

Dark_Convoy:
Holy shit! Devastator is going to be gi-fricken-normous.
Katamari Prime:
Sceptisism sense activate.

THAT robot would combine with 6 others, who I would suspect won't be just construction vehicles.
bonafide1498:
this sounds sweet! Hope its legit.
Ravenxl7:
Sounds cool to me. Would be awesome to have a 7-bot gestalt made out of Deluxe class figures. Looks like I might be buying more movie toys than I was planning on, lol.
iconscons:
that pic of long haul was around before the 1st movie, I doubt they'd use it now. I'm sorry, but I just don't think this is true, but I could be wrong.
Apriorion:
I sincerely hope this is true. That would put to rest my concerns about kiddy-ness, for sure. Oh, and I should also echo this statement (for the second time, since I was all geeked out when it first leaked): that monster-dump-truck design is freakin' SWEET!
cryotek:
Devastator will be the first movie toy(s) that I get. All I can say is About Fucking Time. Dont like the seven vehicles concept but I can live with it.
diablien:
Kind of sucks that "Bonecrusher" died in the first movie... now they'll either have to make up a bunch of decepticons that never existed again or "bring him back".
I guess having Bay be in charge of the Transformers franchise was a good idea, I mean, it stays with the tradition of fucking horrible continuity errors in our canon.
rattrap007: wow. I can't wait... Not crazy about the yellows and reds added to him. Rather they all be green. But I'll live.

This is going to be one BIG F'ING ROBOT | It might actually be even bigger than you think. The Seibertron member who saw one of the ROTF toys being painted during a tour at Hasbro HQ said that it was a Decepticon construction vehicle (he hinted it was a crane of some sort) and that it was a Voyager class toy.
So I wouldn't be surprised if the Devastator combiner toy would actually be made of a mix of Deluxe and Voyager figures...
I also like the idea of him not being entirely green. It's nice to here they might be adding some extra colour in there, so hopefully he won't look like a giant monster booger.
That is, if this is all true...
