A bit of an update on a news story that we first discussed a few days ago where we mentioned a rumor that was going about regarding a second brief IMAX Theatre run for Dark of the Moon before the impending release of the film on DVD and BluRay.
This morning it has been officially confirmed by Micheal Bay’s website that Dark of the Moon WILL be returning to IMAX from August 26th to September 9th and only in the North America.
Could this final theatrical swing push Dark of the Moon even further up the list of All-Time Worldwide (non-adjusted) box office records? DOTM currently sits at the #5 Position, just under $23 Million away from dethroning The Return of the King from the #4 position.

Official Page or the Unofficial Page? Because the Unofficial Page often post made-up news. 75% of the news there, are fake. The person running it is a Fake Michael Bay. I know becase, I've been infomed about it by official sourses.

**Actually I'm happy because I never got to see it because something always came up.**
— It was either I had the money and didn't have time, I had the time and didn't have money, and when I had both time and money; the tickets were sold out. —
**So, I'm very excited and happy to try my luck again.**

Only in North America? Lucky ducks. Otherwise, for fans in other countries, most lame news indeed.

No, because I like my health care.

Most studios have a separate division for international releases or farm them out to other companies, which is why this is North America only. Those that distribute to international markets can make their own decision on any re-releases.

^r u jelly?
Megabattimus
This. America isn't the only country in the world.

I think they want the last push to be from North American market to bring up the NA share of the total gross. It's safe to say it's gonna surpass LOTR in a couple of weeks XD!!!
I feel so lucky to be a part of the group that has honor of shelling out more money for giant effing robots.
Starscreamer95
This is crap. If they were serious about making more money they would have re-released in IMAX in other major countries around the world.
Russian fan
Of course, they well done but… We, Russian (and others ), now must bite our elbows??
Good luck to you, guys, in the cinemas again, and I will sit at home in Russia, and cry over the 3D glasses…
(By the way, we will have DVD only to the end of November…)

I don't remember ROTF Being $17.50 a ticket when I saw it in Imax. $56.00 for my partner, step-son & I to go. I think I will wait for the Blu-Ray.
Ephland
They really really want that #4 All-time spot.
An Army of Bees
Don't count on either of those things. This is just a final money rush before the DVD comes out.
